Joe Flacco

I can't speak on anything....just yet! I was out so I missed the game but have it recorded. I'll watch it first thing in the morning but could you guys/gals tell me how the offense looked and Flacco in particular? I smoked him pretty badly last week, called him "TRASH" and a "BUM" and I'd also like to give him credit and praise where it is due.

yea you did. The offense looked good, came out throwing deep. They couldn't finish it twice inside the 5, they missed an opportunity to put up 40 today. The offensive line had it's best day without Yanda by far, Allen looked good. Maclin caught a lot of underneath stuff for critical gains, and Wallace went deep a few times for some big plays. Defensively, they made enough plays but their run D still suffers without Williams. Crabtree had another good day vs the Ravens. Collins and Allen ran decent today

So all is good now because he finally had one game without a pick? He didnt even throw a touchdown, how low are our expectations where we celebrating this??? A game like this should be a bad game for someone on his salary

he played well today idk what you are talking about - and i wasnt saying its all fixed i was just saying that he's obviously not a trash qb because he CAN play well he just happened to play like trash 3 of the last 4 weeks

You are going to want some sort of side dish to go with SOME of the crow you are about to eat.

You need the side dish because you are not going to eat a lot of crow, but you will eat some.

He looked very good. Not great. Not January Joe by any means, but this Joe can stick around. For sure.

Now, if Flacco can be this consistent, we should be in good shape. I was really happy that he had ZERO turnovers. Now if he can throw for multiple TDs, that'd be great.

It's good that Flacco played very well.

NOW KEEP IT UP. Don't shit the bed anymore the next few weeks. Chicago is not going to be a walk in the park. Neither are the Vikings. Neither are the Dolphins. Neither are the Titans

That said, all three are winnable games and if we play this out right we could be 7-2 going into the bye. Unlikely(I think the Titans beat us), but possible. Then after the bye we have the hard part of the schedule.

Keep it up Joe.. Please. I beg of you

Hes been so bad for so long that we're celebrating this, stop accepting complacency
Guy did his job today in a much needed win. People have every right to give him props or not give him props. No reason to get pissy about it.

Flacco was solid today. He was kept clean and had a luxury of us going 14 up in a hurry, that ought to help with confidence. I hope he'll do the same playing vs some better secondaries than this shitty Raiders' one.

He's kind of responsible for us being up by 14 to start early even if he didn't throw the TD...

If Flacco played less than solid today we would have lost. He had a good game even when considering the box score statstics. Even though the Raiders top two CBs were down, he was accurate for the most part and was able to connect deep with Wallace. Gotta give him credit where it's due

exactly and if we wont allow injuries to be an excuse for us then it also shouldnt affect how we look at how we play other teams too when they have injuries

Yes, I said he was solid today but I won't join euphoria because he finally didn't throw a pick. I want to see this performance backed up next few games before we hit a really hard stretch and where everybody will have to lift their game way up.

And Perriman?

One game of Joe playing well isn't nearly enough for me to eat some crow. Can he be consistent with it? But, I'll give him his props that is for sure.

Those are the key words; "KEEP IT UP".

He did his minimum job requirement and didnt shit the bed, what exactly are we commending here? Hes got a lot more to do to make up for his career slump. Maybe if January Joe ever makes a return i'll join in on the circle jerk.

I agree, but it won’t stop me from giving him props for today.
