Joe Flacco

Honestly, I'm not sold on any of these QBs. I just have to see someone transcendent there for me to be willing to take him if I'm in the top 5. This defense is in desperate need of someone who can set the edge because that's a huge issue right now. We also might need a safety because IDK what Weddle is doing out there. Minkah Fitzpatrick is a guy I would be slamming my fist on the table for.

God our fan base is a bunch of trolls.

Joe isn't perfect, but he's been better since week 4 which makes sense considering he missed 4 weeks of training camp and preseason.

If the car is broken you don't blame the driver when you aren't getting anywhere.

10 year vet who still seems to make rookie mistakes and is aging like bread. He's had ONE successful year since the deal with an OC who made a 7th round pick like average. It's not like this play is new and when judging Flacco's career as a whole, the current play is more in tune with what he's displayed throughout than the good plays. The re-sign is whatever, I get keeping him, but the extension was an AWFUL choice by the FO. And currently speaking, yes, Flacco is the biggest problem cause his play is something that can easily be replaced at this point and we're being handcuffed by a bad deal. The FO has managed to damn near throw all their proverbial eggs into all the wrong baskets with most of the new deals they've reached. He might be the biggest problem, but he sure as hell doesn't deserve all the blame for what we see on the field. This fuck up was the only thing we can say the Ravens have done as a complete team recently.

Eli struggles with OBJ and Marshall. Palmer struggles with Fitzgerald and David Johnson (when he was healthy).

I would definitely take Flacco over both. If you don't that is dumb.

I don't know what it says about me. I was at work to not search up any quarterbacks right away.
It's just crazy, people don't ever factor in the immensely better weapons the other QBs have over ours. It's like people forget it's a team game and no stat is a pure reflection of one individual

Plain and simple facts that don't fit their agenda. To again steal and use my new favorite description, "excruciatingly stupid" thinking.

And I'll point to the fact that no one would make these excuses if Flacco played for another team. Romo, Cutler and Peyton to name a few don't get essays defending them during poor performances. Peytons last year I could point out that his OL wasn't that good and weapons were unreliable. For years Cutler was wasting away on a Bears team with no OL and barely any weapons. Romo labeled as one of the least clutch QBs but people won't mention the many times he put his team up just for the defense to give it away. No one focuses on those narratives. His "good" year with Kubiak is about an average season by mosts standards and everyone else since the deal has been well below average. It's crazy to me that after all this time you think he's magically going to be some super efficient qb when he still struggles reading defenses, lacks pocket awareness, still shows poor mechanics and rarely throws wrs open or leads them. Qbs don't just get more accurate this deep in the game.

OBJ and Marshall are on IR and Sheppard is also injured.
Also a worse o-line and a far worse running game.
What better weapons does Eli have?

David Johnson has not even played a full game and Palmer only other weapon is a 34 year old Fitz.
His o-line was so bad he just got injured and is expected to miss at least 8 weeks....
How exactly has he had a better supporting cast?

What happened here? It's like there are three or four of us left who don't just have an agenda against Flacco

When he plays poorly I call him out. My record shows that.

He played meh decent against Begals and Browns. He played like trash against the Jags and not great against the Steelers.

After week 4, he looked really good against the Raiders, not great but not terrible against the Bears and I can't even grade him yesterday because the offense didn't show up.

When other teams like the Patriots and Packers lose their starters they have good teams and offenses to fall back on. Not the case here. Starting Mallet is moronic. The start Troy Smith following had more credibility

Just curious,.......Is there another team out there now or in the past that has had 4 OCs/systems in 5 years?

I think I saw Camp open on a play that could've been huge if he had avoided the pressure and kept the play alive. Is that asking for a lot? Yes, but sometimes your QB can't be a pure pocket passer and will have to move around. We see all of the top QBs do it but in the end, Elamanour is literally holding this OL back, I would be surprise if Bergstrom doesn't take over because he's literally holding this OL back.

I just can't blame Joe, he didn't turn the ball over and our ST screwed up by giving Minnesota good field position, obviously you would like for him to just make plays but the run-game was stuffed and the OL couldn't pass protect, not to mention those awful snaps from Jensen. I just think the guy did as much as he could.

I was happy that he targeted Moore when he got a step on Waynes, Joe hasn't really been that aggressive this season but it seems like he felt a sense of urgency to get the deep passing game involved. I just wish the pass was more accurate so Moore could've made a play, but it's a difficult throw to make since you don't want a CB like Waynes who has size and the leaping ability to make a play on the ball.
Difficult playnto make yes, but at this point we need to atleast attempt them and give the receiver a chance to make the play.

So your using the injury excuse for those qbs but fail to realise we have lost like 5 guards, 3 wrs, 3 tight ends, 2 running backs?

Wallace maclin perriman matthews
Gilmore williams pitta
Yanda lewis goose urschel skura
Dixon west
Wagner

Is there anyone else

I think what he was saying was they are hurt and he's still playing better. I might be wrong.

Probably not, the only way to address how messing this offense has been is to commit to the run and build from there.

Simplicity is complexity

Are you talking about when an olineman had a false start causing a 10sec run off and then jensen started a fight with Joseph after boyles catch wasting 10 seconds?

Harbs chewed jensen out after the game
Don't know why Flacco did not manufacture an additional 20 seconds. C'mon now. lol

Honestly Flacco is probably sick of this FO not giving him anything to work with and I wouldn't blame him. The same ones calling for Flacco's head even though I think there are like 2 starters outside himself left on offense are mostly the same people who give the defense a pass if one person goes down so it becomes idiotic and I don't consider anything they say worthwhile.

Im actually pointing out that those QBs have the same issues as Flacco , but only they still dont suck so much as his , thus proving that they arent by any means much worse QBs then Flacco.

They are actually better then him , unlike a few try to argue.

They dont have their weapons , have a worse o-line and a far worse running, are asked to throw more and are even older them him , yet they still have been able to play better.

nice try though.

I would argue the ravens offense is the most affected unit in all of football except believe it or not the vikings offense. They are missing qb 1 and 2. Starting running back who looks a stud, stud wr and multiple oline players.

Flacco is playing shit, no doubt, i also think our offense has been dealt the 2nd shittest hand in football.

I can't get behind that the giants and cards are in a worst position than us.

We've lost 15 players. If anyone of them wasnt injured or suspended theyd walk into the starting line-up

Bergstorm is a free agent. When skura comes back he was a lot better than Jermaine, and was improving.
