Joe Flacco

I think he's up there with Aaron Rodgers for one of the most gifted quarterbacks ever to play the game and the Colts are wasting his talents so badly that it makes me want to cry. I loved Andrew Luck at Stanford from the get go and I loved him as a prospect. Felt the Colts really lucked into him hard and now they're throwing it all away.

They've pulled a reverse Browns. Actually found a qb and have done nothing to help him.

I see what you did there.

Joe was absolutely on point today.

And the thing is- I don't think anything really looked that different other than Joe had confidence in his offensive line, set his feet, and drove through his throws. It's amazing how well Joe will play when he actually plays with sound mechanics.

I truly think Joe was the biggest issue with the offense for much of the season and today when he was on his S tier game, the offense went on a tear. This is the offense you'd hope to see in the playoffs.

I really hope this wasn't a one week Joe because this was gorgeous.

an important part of this was the design/playcalling - we used a lot more playaction which gave joe more time in the pocket and more space to throw into - its a symbiotic relationship that can only happen if the line blocks well for alex collins too - so you're right joe was the key thing that improved but i honestly think that it was a slight change in mindset from marty too that helped give joe the time to be confident and step into throws

We've seen Joe go from a stud to a dud in a matter of a week. More then anything he has to consistently put this performance together because this was a great game from him. His throws were totally on-point today, especially towards the side lines, he threw two amazing passes to Wallace and Woodhead.

To your first point, I notice that the stud game will usually be at home followed by a dud game on the road. I expect next week to be no different.

Interesting question. I believe he was wearing it last week. Not sure about this week.

He was wearing last week until he broke it on the slide.
After he broke it he took it off and did not put the back up on.
He played great after that.

His brace is kryptonite.

That’s interesting. Last year he bent it on a bad slide and the drs. Gave him another one.

It worried me when the bullet went through Maclin’s hands and killed the first drive. It was like, damn, here we go again.

especially after the throw before was not a great throw by joe - it just felt like the promising drive was going to unravel again and turn into the same putrid offence in every game this year bar 1 (maybe 2) other(s)
