Joe Flacco

Nothing have changed for anyone to go back on what they said lol. Still lost to the steelers and have yet to beat an worthy team

Yes clearly Flacco did not do enough to win that game... I have to ask what kind of drugs do I have to take to make me this delusional because I dont think any concoction I know would do the trick?

One thing that I've seen Joe do more is progress through his reads. Ben Watson TD was a big example of him staying in the pocket and buying time till he got open and threw it perfectly on the money. It was really a great play.

I notice on both here ans rsr a lot of posters have just vanished now he has hit form.

I genuinely believe some people would rather see flacco play poor than ravens winning.

One of the reasons I think this happens is that some believe him playing well is just doing the job he's paid very handsomely to do so less needs to be said about him. Whereas him playing badly like he did for the first half of the season can cost the team some wins and possibly a chance at the playoffs.

It's no different to any other everyday situation really.

I agree with this. It's like when you go online to check reviews there are more bad than good because more people are willing to complain than give a positive review.

Flacco is going to take us to the promised land this year with a lousy receiving corp and a mediocre or worse
offensive line missing numerous starters.

I'm impressed.

We have got to hire a QB coach who can pull out the December/January Flacco and put him in September and October.

Something about the tone of this is slightly annoying. Joe's return to form is not a vindication of the people who defended him when he was terrible. I doubt anyone is hiding away from the righteousness of Flacco's unshakeable defenders now that he is playing well.

Every Ravens fan is delighted that good Joe is back but that doesn't mean people were wrong to call for his benching. Maybe if he'd been benched it would have motivated him sooner, or at least made him take off the knee brace. Who knows? What I do know is that he hasn't improved just because some people never lost faith.

Until this year I had always defended Flacco but he looked terrible for 11 games and most coaches would have benched a starter playing that badly for 3 whole months. It was legit to criticise our well paid QB when he cost us very winnable games vs Chicago and Tennessee.

Not that I care about this discussion anyway. He's good again and all is right with the world.

I'm really disappointed about Maclin, with Joe playing this well, we have seen players make plays and up their game. We've seen Mike Wallace make plays, Ben Watson, Chris Moore, Danny Woodhead among others and Maclin still looks like the same guy we've seen when Joe was at his worst.

At this point, he's just making the decision to keep Wallace over him a no-brainer.

No matter how the season shakes out it’s great that Joe is headed back to being one of the top QBs in the league. Hopefully he will remain healthy and we add some more offensive play makers next year.
