Joe Flacco

Flacco is playing top 5 quarterback in the league football these last few games. Let's hope it continues until the defense finds its groove again after the Jimmy Smith injury.

I think a lot of Raven fans are confused on what being a leader is compared to being vocal. Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, are all guys who are vocal leaders. Joe Flacco is a leader by keeping calm and composed even when everything is falling apart around him. This is a great read for those who were doubting his love for football. Anybody who doesn't love the sport would not be successful at it at the NFL level.

Fake news......everyone knows he's just there to collect a paycheck. All he cares about is his beautiful wife and making babies.

It's only fair to note that Joe of last month looks like totally different person than the one I watched in September/October and good bit of November. And I'm not talking about his play quality. Everything seems so different, from press conferences to snap count. I like this Joe but I absolutely hated that other one.

Same guy, some of the issues worked out.

This is the best four game (regular season), stretch of Flacco's career....at least as I recall.
Nothing spectacular, not without error but dependable. Game to game you get the same guy all of a sudden.

It would be something if we get this Joe the next two to four years.

I owe him an apology. He never ceases to amaze me with these stretches of looking absolutely elite after stinking it up for a month or so. I hope this lasts.

It's his best regular season stretch, ever. Doesn't make sense to me, but it is what is.

And no he's not goddam elite. Elite players don't stink up the joint the way he did while they're in their prime, but he's has definitely flipped the switch on his play.

I trust him and the defense enough. If we had a Boldin or just someone could step up in the post season at wr, would raise my confidence in this teams playoff chances much higher.

I can't remember seeing a player who you know could suck so bad, but do a complete 180 for long stretches. There's no player I can think of other than Flacco who's ceiling is so high and floor so low.

The only player that seemingly can do what Flacco is the same player Flacco is an AFC version of: Eli Manning.

He does it in games to where he will go 10 in a row, then go 2 for his next 8.

He’s not one to whine or make excuses, but it has to have something to do with being injured and not saying so. Just too big of a turn around to be anything else.

I keep hoping someone other than Wallace will break through and be that guy. Maybe Quincy A. is a secret X Factor. haha Every time I think of Maclin I throw up in my mouth. What a dissappointment.

This seasons failures are squarely on Joe, everyone acts like the defense choking is why we're out well the 16 game season is a game of averages and Joe played like shit for most of the season.

Not squarely but a lot of blame goes on Flacco.
The first half, yes. Obviously that back injury was worse than we all thought. However f we are going to blame him for not making the playoffs, we also have to give him props for getting us in position to be as close as we were.
