That tells me these guys don’t watch football or don’t think critically - they either only read the stats, recycle hot takes or they don’t watch the game week in week out - the most recent example of a successful red shirt year was last year with Patrick Mahomes behind Alex Smith who benefited from playing behind a good starter a safe coaching staff and no pressure - he came in week 17 and played great and will take over this year

And John harbaugh is most definitely an Andy Reid guy - unless flacco gets injured or looks terrible like most of the start of last year I don’t know why we would get Lamar starting early

Not quite sure what you mean here.

Not saying Flacco will be good or bad, my point was just that you have only the rookies in camp right now and Lamar Jackson is the guy, it's a very skewed sample size in favor of fueling the QB controversy rumor mill and it's going to change quite a bit when the whole team reports.

As much as I'm looking forward to the post Joe Flacco era in Baltimore, that article is totally off base. First off, Flacco isn't a whiner like Ben. He is just nonchalant about everything. It's his make up. But, to compare him to Ben the drama queen is just wrong. Flacco to me is a man that conducts himself with decency and class. Yes he's going to hate the idea of being replaced by Jackson, but I don't think he's the type to take it out on Lamar directly or indirectly. Ben on the other hand is a whiny woman dressed as a man. Keep in mind I qualified the woman as whiny because most women I know are better than Ben in the whining and drama department.

I don't know about not returning call or texts but it's not his job to call people up and it would be out of character tbh. I wouldn't take any of this serious until TC.

I agree if he doesn't care to get in touch completely. I don't think that's who he is frankly. But, this was not responding to his texts and call presumably. That is different though.

I don't care if he doesn't get in touch with Lamar. How does the media know if Flacco doesn't call/text back. Lamar only answered this question in mini camp. I doubt they've asked Flacco or Jackson again. But Flacco should at least text him back. If Flacco has any problems he should've called Ozzie or Harbs.

I don’t think there’s any new info on it - looks like someone who only just saw the initial reports about them not having connected yet but insinuating that flacco is ignoring which seems a bit disingenuous

Fair play if it is new information but it doesn’t seem that way
