All he said was that the players didn't execute. What's wrong with that? We all know they didn't. Maybe he could've said "The Patriots are a great football team and played a better game" but is that really all that better?
Exactly. For Christ's sake, we all know what happened. We saw them give up two 14 point leads. We knew they played like trash. Are we going to forget that if Pees doesn't trash them? Would we have forgotten that if Pees painted a rosy picture? Nah, dude. I mean, shit, giving up two 14 point leads? They deserved to get trashed after that. Pees was asked a simple question and he answered it: players didn't execute. The hell is he supposed to say? I'm surprised he didn't lay all the blame at Rashaan Melvin for getting abused all game.
Personally, I really don't care what a coach says in a presser. Is he being rosy? Who cares? Is he trashing the team? Who cares? Either way people make it out to be a big deal, and it never is.
