I think Josh Woodrum should be The Ravens number 2 back up quarterback. It just seems like he has been able to make more plays than the other quarterbacks. Brian Billick was talking about how the receivers were struggling to get open when Ryan Mallett and Thad Lewis was on the field but when Josh Woodrum was on the field it was a different story.

Sorry friend but I don't agree. He's a nice kid that has shown some skills who lacks experience. The best place for him is on the practice squad where he can hone those skills.
As far as the evaluation,
Defense is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I have no doubt we have something special going on here with the D.
Special teams has a strong coverage unit but lacks that dynamic return man. Glassanero is just ok, but the question remains of can he stay healthy for a full season. He's a favorite on the Christmas card list of the entire training staff, per T. Lombardi.
Offense-no one has an inkling. It could be truly offensive or go on a magical mystery tour. The team didn't do enough to strengthen the line, RB's are mediocre at best and I still think we need another solid WR. Camp is serviceable, again injuries are his worse enemy. I'm not impressed at all with Moore and the rest are just crap.

1)Teams will run hurry up and attempt to get the ball out in a hurry. Linebackers and db's must tackle.
2) no one will run well against this defense
3) If we get a lead of more than a score, this defense will be scary. Not sure that luxury will oft exist.
4) Bam Bradley will (and should) unseat Mclellan beyond this year as a special teamer. Much much higher potential at ILB. McClellan injury a blessing in disguise and it will be time to move on from him.
5) Chuck Clark represents an excellent under the radar sixth round selection. Good football player.
6) Correa, at this point feels a square peg. And if things don't change, he has to be viewed as a colossal miss, particularly given who was on the board.
7) Absolutely NOTHING special about any of our skill position players on offense.
8) clearly the offensive line is of major concern and one hopes that to plug in Stanley and Yanda will set the offense somewhat straight.

Wormley will be a good player. I agree with you that it does feel somewhat of a wasted pick and that there are players I would certainly have preferred.
I've always felt the team was fixated on Wormley and that it had much to do with the import that was placed on the opinion of John's brother.

Not sure Moore makes this team if not for special teams play. He hasn't shown himself consistent enough to be worthy of a roster spot purely as a wideout.
I think he will but based on what he showed he doesn't belong on this team.

We have a lot of good depth. Our preseason oline is the best it's been in a while. I know it didn't always look good, but in years past we would be lucky to get any kind of positive yardage on the ground. We'd be lucky to keep the 5th string QB healthy. We've fielded some truly shitty preseason lines, and this year was probably the best I can remember.
The downside of this is that Skura, Zuttah, and Eluemunor, all of whom started last night and played a good amount, will likely each figure to start a game this year, as our oline will be in flex all year. Not the best sign when you have potential starters still playing a lot in week four of the preseason.

I wonder how the loss of Edelman and Cyrus Jones affects or influences or decision on Keenan Reynolds. I could easily see the Patriots grab him up if he becomes available, so I think the team will certainly consider that when it comes to the 53 man roster. There's a lot of tough decisions to make here for sure, especially with a lot of these UDFAs looking good.
It's unfortunate but Correa just doesn't look like a 2nd round player and it's hard to tell him apart from Onuwasor. If you asked me, I'd think he was drafted ahead of Correa. I think Chris Moore has a very very good chance of making this team and think people are selling low on him. As for DL, there's no way we cut any of these guys with Urban likely gone next year with how he's played so far and with Ricard's versatility on every phase of the game. If anything, I could easily see us go light on OL with the initial 53 as surprising as that is because I doubt anyone will come banging down the door for Skura, Wesley, Nembot. I could even see a Billy Bajema situation this year with someone--not sure who but yeah.

I can't imagine that fear of who the Patriots might be interested in would dramatically influence what we do. if a guy on our roster can't help us, but another one can - that's going to be the determining factor.
Yeah - Correa has been disappointing. Still, it appears the team believes he is a better option than Onuwasor given the playing time in last night's game. I can't imagine that Moore doesn't make the 53 man roster.
Intersting point that they may go heavy on DLine because of the talent that is there and go light on O line, given the lack of talent. However, somebody has to be available as backups on the O line. I anticipate Skura making the 53 man.

Y is it everybody says we shouldn't take a chance on a player with some drama?? Always saying we should steer clear of him. But when we bring in a skilled player with drama everybody applauds it. And says if he can be mature we got a steal!! It's like fans are scared to acknowledge the player could work out fine. And making excuses on missing out on him. Everybody loves the Tim Williams pick. But if we didn't draft him everybody would be saying we can't take a chance on him. And prefer going 5-11 with all choir boys. If Westbrook remains straight he is a candidate for steal of the draft. And better than any receiver that ever played in a ravens uniform. Demarcus Robinson is roasting secondaries, working hard and put drama behind him. While we drafted that bum Chris Moore couple picks b4 him!!
It sounds like Marlon Humphrey (I didn't watch the Bills or Saints game) is looking every bit the part of a first round pick and given how Brandon Carr played in the two games I saw, I can't imagine Humphrey stays down for long.
I was reading an article today on the website that said when Humphrey forced his fumble on Thursday, he told the OLB how to position and where to rush because Humphrey knew the play that was about to happen and then executed based entirely on what he saw pre snap. That's monumentally impressive for any corner to align the front seven so that he can make a big play against the run, but to be a 21 year old rookie who has only played in three (really two) preseason games? Now that's just nuts.
I think the Ravens got something special here.

Dede is worse than "a player with some drama". He shouldn't be compared to TWill, not even close. I actually thought the Bengals would draft him.

Don't know about Robinson or what he did, I didn't know him before the draft. Also wasn't a fan of the Moore pick.
On the subject if Westbrook, he repetedly punched a woman (his children's mother no less) several times, and was purely and simply ejected from an interview at the Combine, something that's probably never happened before! He is a scum, plain and clear.
He is not in the category of Noah Spence, Tim Williams, even Nkemdiche who was an historic idiot was a mile away from him because those guys had issues that typically maturity can erase. Being a violent scumbag is not a problem that can be fixed with maturity.

I can see why we kept Humphrey out until game four. He might have been embarrassed against starters. It started so well when he forced the fumble but he didn't look at all good in coverage. I doubt we'll see much of him this year.
I don't want us to cut good players to keep Correa and Chris Moore, just because they were draft picks.

Well, he had injuries and played in game 2, but not sure about game 3.
Pretty sure he was credited with only three catches allowed for 17 yards and was generally considered a positive.
PFF had him as the fourth highest grade of the night against the Saints.
I'm not sure what you are looking at. He gave up 3 catches for 17 yards and played the entire game. He also had two penalties. I also rewatched the game.
