If Alabama don't make it, how much you bet they will try to expand the playoffs to 6 teams to ensure Bama gets in every year lol. Now realistically with players starting to skip bowl games, I don't see Bowl Games being around much longer. I could see a college football playoff expansion in the future and less bowl games.

That's been a suggestion for a while hasn't it? How far would you extend it to? If you would at all.

The only way Bama gets in is if Oklahoma loses to TCU.

6. Georgia
7. Miami

Those are the only teams who can make it right now and thats how the committee ranked them and properly. The winner of the ACC and SEC are locks. If Oklahoma wins, which they should, are locks. Now the BIG10.....Ohio st will win this game, i think. Even if Barrett doesnt play (i think they have a better chance if he doesnt).

Now the Committee will have to make a choice (if oklahoma losses then they have a mess) Between Bama and OSU. Do they value conference championships, SOS, and quality wins over wisconsin and penn st for OSU over their bad losses. Either way. Its a tough choice. OSU has all the check marks over Bama yet have a couple bad losses. Its basically a coin flip, and in that case the committee tends to favor head to head machups, SOS, confernece championships, and quality wins.

Best case for the committee is if wisconsin just wins

Edit: the problem with letting OSU in over oklahoma would be the head to head matchup which oklahoma DOMINATED AT OSU

i remember when earlier in the season i wanted to see notre dame vs bama in the playoffs to see that oline go up against bama's defence - turns out bama's defence hasnt been stout in the trenches and notre dame has fallen flat the last month

He's going to end up being a Top 10 pick in next year's draft for sure. If he does that in the playoffs, Clemson is going to be hard to beat.

Fox needs to stop talking about OSU being a sure thing making it to the playoff if they win. Its about as close as it gets between Bama and OSU. Hard to vouch for either team

Despite the obvious missed PI on Ohio State, even if it was called I don't think they would have made the comeback anyway. I'm guessing the final 4 will be Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia and Ohio State gets in after the win with Wisconsin and Alabama miss the cut.
