The Ugly, the Ugly, and the Awful: Week 3 Edition

It keeps replaying in my mind :(

Unfortunately, I missed the game today but I'm glad I did. I saw a few of the highlights or shall I say, "low: lights of that game. Pretty pathetic! It's a clear indication to me why these analysts always favor other teams that we play. The Ravens are just too inconsistent in their game play from one week to the next. And Flacco? Damn! This dude man! Well, I'll leave it at that cause the defense looked like pure trash as well. The Ravens need to rip off 6 straight wins to their BYE WEEK in order for me to get the taste of this one loss out of my mouth man.

28 yards through the air ought to embarrass Flacco.
It ought to inspire him to spend more time studying film during the week....every week.

He looks as if he doesn't know how to play quarterback anymore.

He predetermines throws. He is far too deliberate and continues to wait until he sees a guy come open. By that point it's too late.

He can't accurately deliver the ball downfield and opposing coordinators know it.

28 yards? What a joke. He ought to be embarrassed for the effort he puts forth both on and off the field.

McDaniel has done absolutely nothing withou Manning or Brady at the helm. I know you aren't talking coach, but I wouldn't bring him anywhere near this organization. Patricia is a good coach, but how often have coaches done well away from Belichick.
McDaniel still designed that New England offense that Brady and Cassel thrived in.

Only one of those guys I'd look at is Wisenhunt honestly. And even then that's a hard sell. Sure, he's made a super bowl but he had some great talent there. That said, he did help revive Kurt Warner's career, and played a part in helping Rivers again, so maybe he could help out Joe. But McCoy has proven to be mediocre and make worse in game decisions than Harbaugh(which is saying something), McDaniels was an utter failure his first time, and Patricia isn't what I'd be looking for: we need an offensive minded dude, not a defensive one.

As much as I'm skeptical of it. I doubt anyone is going to get fired tomorrow.
Pete Carrol and Bill Bellichick were failures their first times, too.

We dodged a bullet with the Steelers, Bengals, and Broncos all losing today. With that said, Joe is my primary concern and I'm not sure he's ever going to get better. I just saw Russell Wilson today function with the worst OL in recent memory and put up a really great game. Different circumstances, different teams, I understand that but Joe needs to get the ball in his receivers hands and make sure that he hits his guys on stride when they beat DBs.

I honestly feel that the defense will improve and get much better as the season goes on but with that said Weddle and Jefferson duo is a massive disappointment these last two games and the right deep sideline is what people are attacking and succeeding. I don't think they have been bad but they have not been game changers.

Joe is the epitome of a human statue..in his younger days he could scramble a bit...now he's useless in that regard

No he's scrambled quite a bit prior to the injury. He has not been himself at all since injured though. I expected rust and such, and they did keep saying he wasn't 100% but damn. If it was this bad they should have kept a 3rd QB because Mallet isn't any better.

you do realize i mean in his younger days i mean when he was 28..which was the last time he was solid ( he's never been great).

in all honestly i think we should sign kap! His little hooray isnt all that bad now that more and more teams are doing the same!

Hey.....I resemble that remark! Where's an ass emoji when you need one! lol

I kinda expected a loss as well with the travel. Piling on to that playing their first game without what may be the two most important players on the team certainly didn't help. Putting it into perspective it was one loss and all you can do at this point get some guys back and hope for better performances down the road. To say that the team needs to be "blown up" is reactionary and dumb.
I never said blown up nor despite the word being bandied about, rebuild. Cleaning house is not the same thing as either of those things to me. Cleaning house is more like doing what we did in 2012 on a larger scale, mostly involving position coaches, coordinators and perhaps picking up a player or two if available and then needing to make room. I wouldn't think a HC would be a target in a cleaning house situation either, unless someone higher up felt he was the heart of the problem.

lol it's sad to come to these boards after an L we looked bad but Jesus it was ONE game like a bunch of children crying and over reacting lol next week when we beat the steelers it'll be the second coming of Jesus and we just had a bad week
Btw, good game in fantasy

Yeah but Kap isn't all that good either.

a lot better than flacco. I dont think people realize that flacco is done as a starting caliber QB. When was it the last time you saw him make a long accurate throw? i feel like it's been years. He's regressed in every facet of his game and he wasnt even that great to begin with.
