The not good secondary you are talking about has 2 cornerbacks on the team in the top 3 of the NFL in passer rating allowed. Where the team is struggling is Webb has definitely lost a step in the slot. I really think he should strictly only work as a safety because he has the IQ to make up for it. The team hasn't had much luck losing Canaday and Young for long term. Hill needs to come back and do what he did back in the preseason.

now if we can get sacks and pressure our second rate secondary can look better than they are and that's what you're referring to. but to you and the other guy, yeah our secondary is not good. not now. not this year.

now that said, we don't need much out of our secondary to win this Oakland game. ej manual is a gift from above!

You can’t pick and piece when coming up with stats, because all teams get their share of bad teams to play. That being said, Jimmy Shut down Brown (35 yards) even more than he shut down Green (73 yards). Jimmys been a baller throughout the first four weeks of the season. Carr has been very good. Yes he’s going to get beat, but that doesn’t make him bad. At this point in the season he’s been much better than I thought, but it’s still early.

Well that may not happen this week, due to Hill being doubtful for this gams. Probably trying to get him in game shape before he gets on the field. I don’t think it will be long though.
