Quarterback thread

Baker mayfield has just become my favorite for our second round pick. Not that I think he's a realistic pick for us, I don't think the FO is ready to move on yet, but I'd love to have that fire and edge in our qb. Let a guy like that play with our defense and see how much a sense of urgency impacts us, someone who has the fire and the will to win and knows he has a defense that can let him take risks.

Josh Allen. I'm recognizing where he needs to improve but if he is on the board at our selection we had better take him. No question he is a better prospect than Joe coming out.

Although I’ve seen some games, I’d like to watch some tape on him.

I've watched 2 of his games and was thoroughly disappointed considering my expectations. Before the season he was my #1 qb but I'd have a hard time even taking him 2nd round after the 2 games I saw from him this year. He moved well but he was off target a LOT and it just gives me flashbacks of flacco vs buffalo in 2013 and vs jax in 2011

Everybody's talking like Darnold had a bad game but I thought he was deadly.
He did have a good game. Granted I only saw the first half because I was so damn tired. But he was very good, he moves around very well and he's Rodgers like in that regard because he does it to get the ball downfield, and his velocity and accuracy was damn good too. But man Rosen outshined him from what I saw and in much more limited opportunities, he was dropping dimes left and right all over the field, it was a goddamn clinic of touch passes, dude looked like an elite 3 point shooter out there

I don’t know about this guys. Deactivation requires an upgraded voodoo doll. Then again, maybe there is an app for that.

i mean he's definitely got the taste for short term absences with carl davis's 1/2 drive injury so i wouldnt put deactivation off the table yet

Rosen might have another concussion. Two concussions in one year= bad for draft stock.

If he’s there when we pick we take him and don’t think twice

Is mason Rudolph a 1st or 2nd round prospect? I would love him in the 2nd. Love how he goes through progressions.

I'm not a very good QB evaluator, so here's what I've read: he's a 2nd round level QB that will get drafted in the first.

this is gonna be the first year in a while where i rank the qbs on my big board with the other players as opposed to on their own big board which means im gonna have to deep dive into all the offensive prospects but the little ive seen of mason rudolph at this point suggests to me that the senior bowl is gonna be huge for him because he doesnt have great arm talent and his offence doesnt ask him to do much - he's gonna have to impress coaches with his iq and mentality - for me that smacks of a 4th/late 3rd round type qb who might get reached on but id be stunned if rudolph was taken in the 1st round at this point but of course i havent watched much film yet and i imagine my impressions will change a lot during the offseason - likewise evaluating baker mayfield is gonna be interesting too
