Yep, Humphrey to try to shadow AB would have been a bad move. The right thing to do was to put Canady in for Carr to play left side. Would have been any worse than it was.

This actually sounds like the adjustment that should have been been tried. Humphrey-Canady with Hill in the slot would have been enlightening if nothing else. Each has certainly flashed up to this point.

I think they should’ve just doubled AB all game and let someone (Martavis) beat us if he could. Same thing happened with OBJ last season when Jimmy went down. I’m not sure why you would leave a journeyman DB on an island with the best WR in the game, but what the hell do I know?
The «anyone» you speak of were the TE. Any time AB was doubled that left the MOF wide open. So either way we were fucked.

If Bowser was used in coverage then the TE or Bell would have been taken care of too, i think. But for whatever reason, Pees only uses Bowser to rush most of the time, and then Willaims on running downs. It's like he's incapable of using a guy to their strength sometimes.

That's an excellent point. I did see Bowser drop in coverage at least once (haven't reviewed the game) but it wasn't enough for a guy who may have held the keys to this game.

Seriously, the Steelers have one of the best receiving backs in football and Mosley is obviously not 100%. Bowser needs to refine his technique but he has the athleticism and instincts. Just put him on Bell or in zone in the middle and he could have made a huge difference. I fully believe Bowser could have stopped some of those checkdowns from becoming first downs.

It's NOT a rumor! Pees is gone. Not sure how much clearer I could be.

Oh, maybe I'm not a reliable source for some of you.

But trust me, I have access that the beat writers don't have. Not a knock. Just a fact!

I'm not speculating or spit balling.

Just remember where you heard it first...

My question is why would he have better insider info than Hensley, Zriebac, Schefter, Rappaport, etc.

from the way he speaks this guy sounds like the guy who was talking bullshit about ravens player PED rumours and harbs being fired...

We may not even make it

The Patriots also might not make the playoffs that doesnt mean they are not planning for when they do (and yes honestly the Pats are about as likely to miss the playoffs as the Ravens thats how easy the path to the playoffs is for the Ravens).

Great you jinxed it. Ravens lose 2 of next 3 games.

I'm not trusting a guy on a message board who says that he has better access than reporters, and I won't until there are better sources.

the pats can lose the rest of their games and still make the playoffs! Who do you expect for us to beat if we make playoffs? we not beating steelers, jags, pats, chargers! Our only chance is maybe titans! id rather us get a better pick! some are satisfied with making offs, im not... i wanna see us make it to the SB and im 1000% sure we wont

We can beat anyone. We may not have beaten the Steelers, but we certainly cams close. No team will want to play us. I think we will win one game and lose in divisional round.

That guy is Tony Lombardi and I'm with you two- I don't believe a word he says and I could believe he'd spread those rumors. I read his articles because he puts in a lot of useful stats and info, but on the opinion pieces, he's a hack. I created a RSR account once just to discuss the 2008 draft day with him and it was such an unintelligible argument and he eventually just broke down to insults and nonsensical dialect to try to make his point.

I also want to know how he'd have better insider info than a Hensley, Zriebac, etc.
