But it’s fine to pay nearly $10mil per for a scrub safety?? And about same to Williams who doesn’t dominate nor touch the web and comes at a dime a dozen for space eaters. I understand not paying him cuz the cap situation management created. But I Wouk did never say he want worth the $
Jefferson was this offseason, not 2016 and he’s not a scrub. He was a top 10 player in 2016 and if used properly he will continue to be a top 10 player. He’s also in his prime.

Jefferson is getting more than $3 million per year less than osemele so it’s not even really like there’s an equivalency anyway

Osemele is all pro caliber. Jefferson is a scrub. If big money is paid wouldn’t u prefer the player getting the money is one of the better players at his position. Would u pay $5mil more than joe makes to have Rodgers??

I'd rather not pay tackle money to a guard, especially a left guard

True but Jefferson isn’t a great cover safety. He’s just an in the box player and that just isn’t all that valuable. I’m not even going to mention the amount of tackles he missed this season.
It wasn't just him missing tackles though I felt like the entire defense didn't tackle well outside of the cornerbacks. Weddle, Mosley, and others missed several key tackles throughout the year. Does that mean they are bad players and should cut them? Absolutely not. That means the team needs to put more of an emphasis on tackling and the other things they are struggling at, and doesn't mean you should cut them or 31 teams will be knocking at their door with giant ass checks. Like in the 2016 season we hired Frazier to specifically help in the team getting turnovers which they lacked the couple years before and they turned around to be one of the defenses that force the most turnovers the past two years.

What is everyone’s opinion on Alex Cappa. This guy plays nasty, could be a fit here. He’s going to end up being a steal, whoever drafts him.

I'm very intrigued. I'm of the belief that we need better play from our RT and he looks like a dominant run blocker.

Gosh, Isaiah Wynn is great!
You get a guy that could play all five positions to boot. I know he's projected inside and hed clearly dominate at guard but I think he could stick at left tackle.
I wonder if he would get a look from us at right tackle?

I think you made a typo. Fixed it for ya ;)

Yeah Indefinitely like Wynn, but feel he will be a guard in the nfl, with the ability for him to play outside in a pinch.

Starting to watch a lot of OT film right now as we may very well end up picking a RT at some point and ive been very impressed with Brian O'neall. Maybe its because i had low expectations but he is very well coached and plays with excellent technique. If he adds 10-15 pounds this year into his rookie season then i think he will fit in easily in the NFL. 10-15 pounds shouldnt slow him down one bit and hes the easiest mover of all the tackles in this class with the best footwork in this class. All he needs is a stronger base and i think he is a 10+ year starter in this league.

Don't know about his tape but his reps at the Senior Bowl were downright horrible. His footwork and positionning are atrocious.
