He could, but I like him better at guard. He has past McGlinchey on my board.
Speaking of Mcglinchey...i worry about speed rushers against him. Im not sure hes consistent enough on tape for me to feel safe with him. Sure hes a worker and a technician but i feel like his feet are slow at times and his anchor vs bull rushes doesnt always hold.

All them dudes come with serious bust risk!! If Scherff couldn’t handle tackle then how is Williams playing there?? Brown would be a round2 to 3 pick most drafts. He is as a sloppy and awkward as it gets!! And McGlinchey if he could get stronger and put on 20lbs of muscle he would be the best of this bunch. It wouldn’t even be debated. But he is underpowered for now. But if you are confident you could somehow sneak 20lbs of muscle on him he would be a pro bowler.

I agree Wynn is better than any of them. Wynn is only barely 6’3 if that but has long arms and everything else you look for. He could play tackle center and guard. But center is more than likely his best spot. But he can play Right Tackle and do it very well.
I’m talking about the demand at LT. Look at the teams above us not many have their LT. I’d say the Packers and the Redskins have their LT. Teams are going to overdraft them because they need a LT. I like Williams though, he was solid in 2016. He’s gone through a scheme change every year in college. Remember than Stanley had issues with strength and he still does the occasional bull rush gets the best of him so I don’t think that is going to stop McGlinchey from going in the top half of the first

him next to ronnie stanley would be fun in the run game either pulling across the line/pulling 1 gap outside ronnie to spring collins outside the tackles or just straight up using his athleticism to drive his guy back
Stanley, Wynn, Ragnow,Yanda...fixes a whole lot in fairly quick fashion.

Yeah.. No.

McGlinchey's not perfect but when he's on his A-game it's like watching Ronnie Stanley all over again. Of course, he's not as gifted as Stanley was physically but to be fair, not too many tackles come with that combination of quickness. McGlinchey's not as quick or strong but he's not lacking in either department. Even for his bad tape(that exists of every player btw) his issues are obvious. He needs hit the weight room. Same problem Stanley had. He's the same kind of guy just a tad less athletic. I'll take him in a heartbeat. He needs more meat on them bones but that's fine. Conor Williams' tape is more inconsistent and I get it. His tape is Knight and Day. McGlinchey has a bad a bad here or there but his good FAR outweighs his bad. He's got a pretty high ceiling and a pretty high floor as well. I think he's one of the safest prospects in the draft bar none. He's got a skill set that might make him go top ten.

Parts of him are literally like watching Ronnie Stanley again. When he gets his hands on a pass rusher in his good tape they just go away and are erased all game. He had a bad outing vs. Chubb but to be totally fair Chubb beat the crap out of everyone this season and Chubb showed more of the power issue. He puts some weight on him and he doesn't get beat by the bull rush. Not to mention as a run blocker he does get to the second level and he actually puts more people on their asses than Stanley ever did.

He's not a better prospect than Stanley, but he's pretty safe as far as tackle prospects go. He gains some strength he'll be fine

I prefer James Daniels from Iowa over Ragnow.....not sure why Ragnow and Price are the only guys to get hype as Centers
Lots of people prefer Daniels. He's way hyped. It's simply a question of where they might be drafted and where you're comfortable with taking them.
They're both good prospects.

Daniels gets a ton of hype. For good reason too, he's just a fit in a ZBS and not as much here as Ragnow or Price.
I agree, really like Ragnow as a prospect. If we don’t sign Jensen, I would want to target Ragnow and he could be available in the 3rd.

I think he fits fine here. Hes got more functional power than Ragnow imo. Jensen was asked to get to the second level pretty often in our run scheme and i think thats where Daniels excels most at.

If it's about mobility, then yes, Daniels is amazing, but Ragnow is still better than Jensen in that department (he's impressive as well). In terms of strength, Daniels looks like he has good core strength but lacks some in his arms and upper body. Ragnow is a straight powerhouse. Long story short, you get the more athletic and mobile of the two (and better pass pro) in Daniels, but the stronger and the meaner (and better run blocker) in Ragnow.
I don't think you can be wrong with either, but Ragnow looks more like a fit in our quest for "bigger, stronger" OLinemen.

Idk why y’all are falling head over heels with Ragnow. He’s great but if we are drafting a center it’s Mason Cole. Sorry guys
