Next Up: @ Steelers

Tennessee continues to be the one common denominator in all of this COVID stuff. They are the super spreaders of the NFL and must have their season cancelled ASAP.

So what's considered a close contact because JK was obviously around everyone yesterday that's what makes the close contacts so dumb to me like how can you say certain people are when he was on the field touching and beside everyone on both sides

He was chatting with Derrick henry after the game too. The whole situation is a mess really.

Of all the players to have got Covid of course it was JK lol - the one bright spot from the devastating loss is taken from us lol - the one "new" thing we had that could maybe help us overcome the steelers lol

Justice Hill time - we better actually use him though rather than just have him occasionally play some 3rd downs

tbf the last time we beat the steelers in week 17 last year, it was Gus and Justice who ran all over them

no close-contacts announced yet - hopefully that means there arent any but who knows - seems unlikely that they all just played in a game and there's no close contacts at all

The covid diagnoses suck. But I was not expecting them to win this game regardless so it shouldn't affect the outcome of this one, but they have Dallas after this
They really need all hands in deck because if they drop more gimme games against the NFLs bottom feeders, this will be a short season.

Glass half-full take... there are worse position groups or clusters of players that we could lose than our RB room, which even with an aging Ingram, has some decent depth.

Think about what Sunday would look like if this hit the DB group, or the Linebacking group, or a DLine group that's already without its two best players.

so apparently somehow the only close contact of either Dobbins or Ingram was Brandon Williams who has to quarantine for 5 days (but who wasnt going to be available for Thursday anyway)

Am I crazy or does it feel like the nfl should maybe look into the Titans? They had multiple spikes in multiple weeks and have been busted not following protocol, and aren’t we the second team to have a spike after playing them?

it’s fucking weird how this shit keeps following the Titans in one way or another

Tyre Phillips has been designated to return - with how well Ben Powers played I wonder if we put Phillips out at RT just to get the best 5 OL on the field??? there's no way he's not better than Will Holden and DJ Fluker lol

just an idea

Pretty much no chance its related. Ravens positive tests came from yesterday, I believe. Meaning they were tested prior to game or shortly after the game. Pretty much no chance you would test positive merely hours after being exposed.

Other things I saw from Zrebiec:
1. Brandon Williams is a close contact, so he's back on the COVID list. Will not be playing Thursday either.
2. Both Dobbins and Ingram actually testing positive puts them in the minimum 10 day protocol. That means the earliest they can be ready is Wednesday 12/2. Note the Ravens host the Cowboys on Thursday 12/3, so they'll be right up against it to get cleared for that game also.

Could very well be looking at a multi-game absence for both, conceivably.

also no coaches have tested positive but some other club officials have which suggests it's more likely any spread came from inside our own building

McSorely had to go on the Covid-list on Friday (cant remember if he was a positive case or whether he was a close-contact) but cases in Maryland in general have been rising a lot so my guess is it's most likely come from the Ravens own building

2-3 weeks from now I could see it. I don't think they'll go from activating him to starting him at RT against Pittsburgh, with no practice reps. That seems to be a stretch.

Sorry fellas this is not our season. I expect we will not make the playoffs with this scenario.
