i know they set the precedent with the Titans and not making them forfeit but I have to wonder if that's on the table given that this outbreak is clearly caused by a break in protocols - i doubt the NFL want to do that and the Steelers players likely dont want that because I think they'd technically lose a game check but given the lack of flexibility left in the schedule I struggle to see it not being on the table
then again if they do then the Ravens may well fight back given the precedent of the Titans game earlier in the year - so maybe the NFL doesnt even consider it to stave off those potential litigation issues
I think that's the hope. Obviously we've followed protocols since the positives started coming down, so you'd think the "spread" is stopped and all of these positives are related to the incubation period. Buuuutttt this year is super unpredictable so I wouldn't necessarily count on that.
With Jihad ward the latest to the C19 list... here's how I could see the active roster shaking out on Sunday, pending no one else is added
QB (2): Jackson, Griffin
RB (3): Edwards, Hill, T. Williams
WR (6): Brown, Bryant, Duvernay, Snead, Boykin, Proche
TE (3): Andrews, Willson, Ricard
OL (8): Brown, Bozeman, Colon-Castillo, Powers, Holden, Fluker, Phillips, Bredeson
DL (4): Wolfe, Madubuike, Ellis, Washington
OLB (5): Ngakoue, Judon, Bowser, Ferguson
ILB (5): Queen, Harrison, Fort, Board, Welch
CB (4): Humphrey, Peters, Smith, Williams
S (5): Clark, Elliott, Levine, Richards, Stone
ST (3): Tucker, Koch, Cox
Inactive: D. Harris (literally has 1 walkthrough practice with the team due to circumstances this week)
That's 47 right there, and I'd think you'd want to add another body at DL or OLB, so consider one of Aaron Crawford or Aaron Adeoye. Not really seeing a need to promote a bunch of PSers just to make them inactive, especially since you can push it to the limit on Sunday before having to make a decision.
So your promotions from the PS: Dez Bryant, Luke Willson, Will Holden, Ty'Son Williams, Aaron Crawford/Aaron Adeoye
And then Tyre Phillips activated from IR.
The culprit was indeed Steve Saunders
just saw that but
jimmy smith out lol
im assuming devontae harris is going to be active in his stead though despite the lack of playing time - alternatively that's where one of the PS callups comes from (probably as a covid replacement)
I'd still think there's a chance for Jimmy. Hasn't been practicing much lately anyways and technically a status for him doesn't have to be determined until tomorrow with the game now on Sunday. Hard to ascertain what exactly they're going to do since all of these are estimates, though.
Time to rework this... yikesWith Jihad ward the latest to the C19 list... here's how I could see the active roster shaking out on Sunday, pending no one else is added

I'd say it's extremely unlikely that we can win with RGIII
