Fire Marty

No... Because Flacco was a good QB at the time and we had talent. Marty's bad, but the biggest problem with the offense is total lack of execution/talent. With Cam Cameron, we had Boldin, a #1 WR, Torrey, a damn good #2, Jacoby who was a solid #3, a solid oline, and a damn Good TE in Pitta. Oh and an elite running back.

Offense actually needs some talent. Maclin is fine. But we need more.
Yeah I’d kill for that talent on offense right now .

Exactly. Marty will be fired at the end of the year when Harbaugh goes. And yes, I think Harbaugh's gone. Only guy I'd keep is Roman tbh and put him in charge of RBs and TEs.

Let's wait to see what happens when Harbaugh is fired.
The only way I see him getting fired this season is if a guy we would love to have who we can't pass up on is available. Sean Payton is someone I think fills that type of category. I think if he's available, we pull out all the stops to get him. He would just change our offense and he brings a deep passing game.

His MO is offense and it's always been great since he's been in NO. We have an culture here and it's defense, our FO will build that continuously. The thing I like about Payton is he is a offensive guru, he knows how to do offense and our FO knows how to do defense, I personally think it's a great combination.

That’s what I’ve been saying. I would LOVE to have Payton here, especially if we draft a young QB.

There's just one little detail - he signed 5 year extension in 2016. How do we get him?

Add to that Camp ( still healthy knock knock knock ) Collins. Ummmmmm Allen? Wallace ?

Sweet Jesus, when you try to list who is a true keeper on our current offense is gets WAY depressing.

God help us...

I would like to see more of Chris Moore from here on. If he's not the #3 then this team is making a big mistake. I understand Perriman's first round status but it's just not working out right now. You just need to give it to the guy who is making the most of his opportunities, I think Camp has earned more targets as well.

We're 3-4, and clearly not good enough to contend in the playoffs let alone Superbowl.

Based off Steve Bisciotti's recent comments it sounds like he is content with letting it ride out this season and seeing what happens, in Bisciotti's mind it doesn't matter whether we are 8-8, 10-6,11-5 etc. Nothing matters aside from winning a super bowl or at the very least showing some sort of potential in the post season with signs of an arrow pointing up. Problem is the arrow is firmly down right now.

When we made our superbowl run our season started out ugly...mutiny rumors, rumors that Harbaugh lost the locker room, injuries to our key defensive leaders and ultimately sloppy ugly inconsistent play.

What sparked us that year? Firing Cam Cameron and stepping in Jim Caldwell, taking a similar style offense with an eye on improving and raising the tempo of the game, and emphasis on the passing game.

How many more historically bad offensive outputs will it take for our FO to realize Marty is not the answer? It would be in our teams best interest to fire him and place someone like Greg Roman or anybody for that matter as the interim, to try and spark a change for our offense. Keep trying to run the ball like we have put loads of emphasis on this year, but be more creative with pass play designs and play calling in general, give the ball to Flacco and let him throw it 50+ times and see what happens. I'd rather us do that and see what you get from our aging somewhat declining franchise QB, than run it a bunch of times with mediocre RBs.

Won't be surprised if Mornenwhig stays the whole season though, we don't have a long term fix for OC on this roster and that's probably why we haven't fired him yet.

No matter how we may feel about Marty it is not a good idea to fire him this season. It's not like Marty is working with alot talent out there either and of course there are somethings we would like to see him do better at but I think every fan can say that about any offensive coordinator on their team. Getting rid of Marty isn't what's best for Joe Flacco even if it may seem best for us in our opinion but it's definitely not best for Joe . The Vikings have a good defense and Flacco was basically playing without his number one, two, and three wide receiver in yesterday game. The Ravens run game which in my opinion is impressive to be ranked 7th in the league was not helpful at all. If the run game was better then I think that would have helped Joe Flacco out alot and it would have helped out the passing game as well. The Ravens need Jeremy Maclin, Mike Wallace,Breshad Perriman, Max Williams, and Danny Woodhead to return to the field. Perriman and Williams have been disappointing but I don't think this offense take the next step until they start making plays. I

I disagree. Even when we had these players on the field they still couldn't get anything done. Yes players have to execute but they have to be put in position to succeed. Playcalling is horrendous if we know whats plays they are going to run before the snap the other team definitely knows it too. You rarely see this team make adjustments when something is not working they keep doing it.

the problem is its not just a reaction to 1 game where we had no wrs left its a reaction to 5/6 of the 7 games weve played having anemic offences with unimaginative and predictable playcalling with uncreative and ineffective play designs that havent been using the tools we do have to the extent that the offence looks no different when those "tools" are out - if anything that's more damning than anything else

and i dont know how keeping marty helps flacco tbh - marty's been working with flacco for 2 full years by the end of this season and flacco if anything has got worse during that time and has certainly not got any better so while bringing in someone new might changeup the terminology and the playbook i imagine it wont be that difficult given that marty's playbook apparently only has 6 calls in it: run left, run right, screen left, screen right, checkdown, tight end around...

Perriman hasn’t had many targets on the year. I believe he should be targeted more often. I also agree with you that Camp deserves more targets, but that’s on Joe. More often than not he is just throwing to his first or second read.

When he's been targeted he has not really done much. He has a serious issue with catching the football and that hit on him is just unfortunate because the pass was perfect, with the safety closing in you want to throw that ball low so the receiver doesn't get hit, unfortunately he got blown up on the play on a should-be flag.

Outside of that, one way to lose your job is when people behind you begin to make plays, that's Chris Moore and Michael Campanaro at the moment. I think Camp and Moore can be good receivers as #3 and #4 options, and trust me, I've seen worse. I'm actually comfortable with both in that role as long as we get Maclin and Wallace back.

FWIW, I saw plenty of plays where Campanaro got open, unfortunately Joe either ran out of time in the pocket or missed him.

camp looked pretty good - he had 50 yards total offence which would be great if it wasnt the lead in total yardage for the day

He doesn't get targets because he isn't trusted. He drops them more often than not. Trust is earned and he hasn't done so.

lmao@ signing a TE. Yep offense is all good! We'll just sign another vet in the twilight of his career and/or not good enough for another team! Instead of getting rid of the main problem which is the OC.
