Yeah it's bad. We need to go vertical but not sure how that will play out for us with what we're left with to catch the ball. The offense has 53 yards of offense. Oh boy...

so the vikings have 53 rush yards on 15 carries which isnt even 4 ypc so its not like the defence is doing bad but we're used to 2.5 ypc levels of dominance - the problem is that they are getting well over 3.5 ypc without springing a run longer than 8 yards
Who's used to that 2.5 ypc? The last 4 games the team gave up an average of 169.5 rushing yards per game without B-Will. And the first two games only gave up 170 total.
The answer is yes, you keep running the ball. Just because you got stopped once in the series doesn’t mean you just abandon the run game. You keep chipping away until you can break one or at least keep the defense on its heals. Alex Collins gets one touch and then we go on 2nd and 10 for a short pass to a TE for a gain of 1 and the TE gets blasted. Are you and I watching the same game?
No I won't stop it, we held TOP because we forced a turnover on their 2nd snap and because we forced early 3 and outs, but after repeated failed drives by our offense they get gassed and begin breaking down, as evidenced by missed tackles and no clog in the run game. Before this drive, which the defense is allowing the Vikes to stay on the field this long, we held TOP. So why is our defense "gassed" and the Vikes look just fine? Stop it. Just stop it.
So BWill is back. Davis is back. We held TOP before the defense allowed that long Vikes drive. Excuses now?
I don't even care if they go vertical. I want to stop seeing the first read being a 1 yard dumpoff with a linebacker right there.Yeah it's bad. We need to go vertical but not sure how that will play out for us with what we're left with to catch the ball.
lmao No sorry. Other than the long Vikes drive THEY ALLOWED THEMSELVES, they were NOT ON THE FIELD LONGER THAN THE VIKES DEFENSE. It does not work that way. They still were only on the field for ONE PLAY with that turnover. No I won't stop it, we held TOP because we forced a turnover on their 2nd snap and because we forced early 3 and outs, but after repeated failed drives by our offense they get gassed and begin breaking down, as evidenced by missed tackles and no clog in the run game.
