2020 NFL Playoffs Discussion

We made it... 256 games later and we finally get to the playoffs. In 2020, the NFL added a 7th seed with only one team getting a BYE and now we'll see how this new format works.

Super Wildcard Saturday:
Colts @ Bills: If not for Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen would have a great case to be MVP as he has stepped up big time in 2020. Philip Rivers gets one last playoff appearance in what could be his final game. Colts defense has a tall task in front of them, can they be the first 7 seed to upset a 2 seed?

Rams @ Seahawks: No word yet on whether Jared Goff will be playing but if the Rams defense can keep the Seahawks offense in check, could be an upset waiting to happen.

Buccaneers @ Washington: Perhaps the system in New England was Tom Brady all along. Brady has gotten the Buccaneers back to the playoffs for the first time since 2002. The Alex Smith redemption story looks as if it may come to an end Saturday Night but regardless, Alex Smith locked up Comeback Player of the Year back in September.

Super Wildcard Sunday:

Bears @ Saints: The Bears backed their way into the playoffs because Arizona fell short in a big game against the Rams backup QB in his first start. In what could be Drew Brees' final home game, perhaps final game, the Saints look to march their way to Tampa to give Drew Brees a second ring as he goes off into the sunset (potentially).

Browns @ Steelers: The Browns have finally made it back to the playoffs and face the same team they faced the last time they were in the playoffs. Steelers have been a mess since losing to Washington and they look to recover and go on a run for Big Ben. Given everything going on with Covid, Browns not having their Head Coach, the Browns first playoff trip in 18 years could come to an end quickly.

So.... we definitely are rooting for the Colts tomorrow so Josh Allen doesn't get a playoff victory before Lamar?

It would be one of the biggest slaps to the face if both Allen and Baker get a playoff win before Lamar does.

I don't care as long as Lamar wins. The rest of my family is from Buffalo so they're the team I'm rooting for if it can't be the Ravens.

Indy can’t be setting for many more field goals. Need touchdowns if you wanna compete with Buffalo this year

colts showing no guts - you arent gonna keep up with the bills by punting or kicking field goals in the redzone and punting from midfield is pointless

the bills are gonna score - doesnt matter if you punt the ball inside the 10 or if you screw up on 4th down and give it to them at the 45 - you're just giving them the ball back all the same - you might as well at least try to continue your drive
