He had a rough 1st day but has been on time since. Hoping he was just getting jitters out. We don't want Lamar getting roughed up and knocked out cuz of a bad snap.

id imagine our pulling MO will change somewhat - zeitler can pull and bozeman can from centre - having big guys at LG also will hopefully allow us to run some more inside zone type stuff too
powers looked to be running with the 2nd team at RG which would suggest to me that he doesnt factor into the competition right now
i noticed one slightly low snap so far but havent noticed anything else
ill put it this way - he doesnt look like the leanest guy ive seen - carrying a lot of it around the middle - but he passed the conditioning test last week so cant be that bad

So do I. I was disappointed at first not drafting a center in the 1st rd cuz to me it's a crucial position. Making line calls and getting the ball to the QB but I'm on board with Bateman and Oweh who have shown a lot in camp. Bozeman was a center at Alabama so its a natural transition.
worth noting that i have no idea where or what ben bredeson factors into the equation because he wasnt practicing during the stadium practice and beat writers aren't normally allowed to talk about who's practicing with the 1s, 2s etc. when it comes to camp battles on the OL and stuff
jesus oweh just destroyed the 2nd team RT - and Hayes wasn't far behind vs the LT too

Not gonna say that Queen's better yet but he seems to be trusting his eyes better in coverage - looks smoother transitioning between receivers but way too early to say anything yet
I'm just hoping Tavon Young isn't used on special teams. Bubble wrap this guy so he can make it through the season.
On what i've seen so far, and it is definitely putting out there the caveat that this is only the first week of training camp, but Ben Cleveland looks a fair ways behind Tyre Phillips to me - especially in the running game
Oweh just killed an option play - forces the keep by being disciplined and then just has the explosion and athleticism to close the space to the QB on the zone read - and this was Huntley too (not mcsorely) - genuine actual athletic freak

Madubuike's a 1-man wrecking machine and it's unfair when he's given reps against the 2nd team OL - it does not matter if it's powers, colon or cleveland or even a double-team of more than 1 of those 3, he's winning
that's an improvement Oweh needs to make. He was consistently slow off the snap.
