Playoff Picture

Last night might have changed the AFC playoff picture a lot. If the Steelers beat NE, we're likely going to Foxborough for our wild card round, since JAX would most likely take #2 seed in that case.

it only changes if the steelers beat the pats which im not sold on at all

Who do the Jags have down the stretch for the rest of their schedule?
and the jags only really have the titans left

Wow the Jags schedule they should win all three of those games. 49ers have improved since Jimmy G went there, Houston is getting worse as the season goes on and the Titans seem to be falling apart too.

I would LOVE this synerio

not that i think we arent good enough to blow out all of these teams, just that it would be typical ravens fashion to blow one badly and then anxiously await the results of week 17 to see if we get the help we need
This won’t happen the next three games

calling it now, we get blown out in one of these last 3 games.
I'm calling it ... we win out and the only game that is remotely close is vs. Browns.

Browns will be fighting desperately to avoid 0-16 and would love nothing more than to have that win come at home against their fan's most hated franchise.

We will dominate our remaining home games. Bengals will be in roll over and die mode (actually, they are already)

Oddly enough, the game out of these 3 that is the most expendable is the Browns. If we lose that one, we still get in as long as Buffalo drops one (likely the Pats). That's due to the fact that they didn't play the Browns, but they did play and beat Indy and Bengals.

However, we won't need to worry about that, cause we're winning out.

Ok lol

can you elavorate? or you just simply disagree that we might lose one of these gimme games?
Yes I disagree that they will lose one of the remaining games, unless we locked up the 6th seed in week 17 without a shot at the 5 seed and decide to rest players.

Buffalo is only ahead right now because we have not yet played the teams that put us ahead. Its rather simple, but when all the games are played the Ravens in almost every scenario will hold the tiebreaker.

The Bills have to beat the Pats which is not going to happen and sweet the Dolphins to even keep pace with the Ravens and even if they do the Ravens still hold the tiebreaker.
These scenarios work - only if we win out. If we lose to either Indy or the Bengals, we stand to fall out - even if the Bills lose at NE.

I'm not so sure that we're likely the 6 seed. If we win out, I really see us taking the 5th seed. I don't think the Titans are going to win but one more of their remaining games and in that scenario, they are the only team that would keep us out of that slot.

Not sure if playing KC or LAC will be better or not ... would be fun to take the Pats down in Foxboro ... and retake the lead in that head-to-head post-season matchup.
