Playoff Picture

FWIW, I thought coming into this game GB had a pass rush that was really underrated. I think they have some good edge and inside rushers and do a great job penetrating the inside OL.

It was a bad performance from the offense, but with Hurst at LT, I really didn't expect much. Look back to Dallas match up against Atlanta and see how big of a difference a bad LT makes.
Well Matthews did go out with a groin injury. That helped a little

It did but Nick Perry was matched up on Hurst for the majority of the game, the Packers overall have a pretty good DL and another injury that helped was Kenny Clarke, he's a supreme run stuffer.

Yes he is, but we had a pretty good lead at that point.

From NFL.com "If Baltimore gets a competent offense, the Ravens will find themselves in the playoffs in January. That's how good their defense is."

Yes, competent is all we are asking for from this offense. If we can stay healthy, we might have a chance to achieve that. They weren't terrible today and they clearly had issues with Stanley out. He needs to get back and we can't afford any more injuries of any significance on that side of the ball. If we do that and play pretty clean ball, I agree with this sentiment - I really think we can make it.
Well nice for NFL.com to say what we've been saying all along. The fact that we're 5-5 with one of the worst offenses (if not the worst) just speaks volumes about this season.

To make it even more comical ... It was in the article - "what we learned from Sunday's Week 11 contests".

I suppose I could add "The loss of Aaron Rodgers really hurts the Packers" ... we learned that today too.

Afc is pretty set imo. its either patriots or steelers to the SB. and im going with Pitt! we cant beat neither team tbh

So basically they don't watch the Ravens. Well I'll be damned.

The chargers scare me more than any team to take our spot. With their schedule, they could win out maybe lose one. I think the Bills and the Dolphins are fucked, mostly the same with Raiders.

They will most likely beat the Cowboys and Browns and everyone will be talking about them but then lose to Redskins because the NFC is just better and then to KC because KC is a bad matchup for them. That puts them at 8 wins assuming they beat Oakland and thats not good enough.

Honestly if we don't make the playoffs I hope the chargers do. They could really come out of nowhere and make some noise.

The Ravens defense has always played the Steelers tough the Steelers have yet to show they can hang. They are a team that has yet to prove to get over that hump. They are not built for success against teams like the Patriots. I think the Ravens have a better shot at beating the Patriots than the Steelers do. That's not to say the Steelers aren't a good team, their defense just always chokes in the playoffs. And I know there will be comments saying "The Steelers young defense is up and coming" but they have been saying that for the past 5-6 years and they have yet to turn the corner.

Chiefs are the only real threat to the Patriots right now in the playoff hunt and they are regressing back to check down Alex. Patriots will likely be representing the AFC.

The one thing you can't say about this team is they can't beat any team on any given Sunday. That is the issue frankly. They can actually beat any team in the NFL any time but also lose to the worst team the same day. They are so inconsistent it is mind boggling. They're the most confusing and confounding team to make any predictions about. They may lose out or go deep in the playoffs. So, I am staying away from predictions.

It's sad because this has been the case for years they are the most inconsistent team to play football this season outside of maybe the Jaguars lol

I see what youre saying, but our offense has never been this terrible before. I mean inconsitent maybe but never this terrible.

I honestly think theres a slight chance we win out. We have a favorable schedule and i think we match up really well vs the lions. Against the steelers is a toss up but i think we play great defense and keep it close, we usually split the season series soooo......ya...why not call that a W lol

Of course there are teams like us and the Browns, but if there's ONE team that has a propensity to screw it up for themselves, it's the Chargers. It's almost amazing to me how they found new ways to blow games.

Okay so by looking at the playoffs I think the Steelers could finish as the third seed and possibly our opponent. I can almost guarantee if we make it, we get the Jags or Steelers. If the jags drop one, I think the Steelers will lose two and become our team. I really wish we could have the five... playing the struggling Chiefs would be awesome
