I dont think they go 8-8. They can easily go 9-7 or 10-6. We are the ones that might go 8-8 at best
As inconsistent as we have been I could easily see us ending up with 8 wins. However the chargers may also end up at 8 wins,

vs. Browns
vs. Redskins
@ Chiefs
@ jets
vs. Raiders

It's Deebo you can't take his predictions about results too seriously. Remember he was so sure the Ravens were gonna lose to the Packers and had his gloating ready ready. Just remember he has managed to successfully pick 10 of our last 5 losses this season.

For them to go 10-6 they’d have to win out from here which is incredibly unlikely - 9-7 with only 1 loss would also be a stunning turn up - they’ve got an easy run in but so do we

Also the Chiefs are gonna drop a bunch so they may lose the division and not get into WC contention.

I think the Chiefs are fine people are exaggerating their loss to the Giants. They still have one of the most dynamic offenses with Kelce, Hunt, and Hill. They just resorted to being the dumb Chiefs that check down instead of the ones that took chances deep during games early in the season. Hunt hasn't been as effective because check down Alex is back. Which is why I was advocating the team trading him back when he looked like he was going to win MVP and get the most out of him while they could.

I love the Chargers and they will always have a place in my heart, I would love for them to win their division, but they are still two games out and I think the Chiefs have everyone to be successful. People just jumped off the bandwagon when they were undefeated the 5-6 games whatever it was. They are in a rough patch but I think everyone before the season could agree the Chiefs were about a 9-10 win team. They just had a good streak and now a bad streak.

I actually bet on my predictions every week and before the season. From jags and cowboys alone im making 1k at end of season. Its not much, but it goes to show that i put my money were my mouth is. Anyway, you still lied about what you just said about me

Here's what could happen. If Stanley plays Monday and we are generally healthy I think we get a W on Monday night against the Texans. Not easy, but we'll get a close win. The rest short of the Browns and Colts I am not very sure. Could go either way. Even the Colts could be a tough outing. Who really knows if the Browns will pull off a Miami (when Cameron was their HC) and pull off their only W against us? So, it is really murky - the road ahead contrary to all the playoff talk assuming we'll win the next 4-5 of 6 games and get the WC spot. If we can beat either Detroit or Pittsburgh, then I would feel a little more confident about our chances. But, if truth be told it is a fool's errand trying to predict anything with this Ravens team.

I agree

yes the chiefs arent a train wreck in slow motion but they've now lost 4 of their last 5 games its not just the giants game that worries people (that was the icing on the cake) - their scheme was innovative with all the misdirection at the beginning of the year but DCs have had 11 weeks to watch film and other offences have actually implemented bits of KC's scheme but DCs are also able to slow it down now which means the chiefs dont have the wide open down field shots or massive holes for kareem hunt that they did earlier in the year

that being said andy reid is a good coach and im sure the chiefs will win a fair few games - they've got 3 games against the bills, jets and dolphins which should win at least 2/3 and they have three divisional games, 1 against the broncos which should be a win - so they are at least limping to 9-7 i think and likely more - the chargers at best (mathematically) go 10-6 which makes the chiefs losing the division pretty incredible

However, I must add that the only reason for a whiff of optimism is based on a simple metric. Based on this metric I predict that the LA Chargers and Baltimore Ravens will be the 2 WC teams. That metric? It is the net point differential. The Chargers sit at +47 and we at +42. Every other challenger sits at negative point differential. The Titans at 6-4 have a -31differential. Now I expect them to trail off. Now the real battle is going to be a division war between the Chiefs and the Chargers. Both of them I suspect will make the playoffs (one as a division winner and other as a WC) along with us if that metric is useful.

I don't see a way the Titans don't hit 10 wins. There next 4 are Colts, Texans, Cards, 49ers. They are winming all 4 then probably dropping last 2 to the Rams and Jags.

I think we’ll sneak in with how bad the AFC is, but I swear to god, if that saves Marty’s job I’ll just give up on life.

I won’t lie, the way Phillip Rivers was threading the needle yesterday and the way his receivers were hauling them in was quite impressive. The Chargers pass rush is kicking butt. Bosa is looking like a beast. I know the Cowboys are really struggling, especially on offense without Elliott, but the Chargers embarrassed them at home on Thanksgiving. Something that does not happen very often. The Chargers are clicking and definitely not the 0-4 team they were earlier. We must get better on offense, because our defense won’t be able to shutout every team left on the schedule. Hopefully things will improve when we get stanley back and he plays on Monday night. Hurst was horrible at LT!

I think the thing with the chargers is they were never an 0-4 team - I mean they really should have 3 more wins than they do at this point in the year - they lost 3 games in very unfortunate circumstances so in terms of actual play they were never really an 0-4 team - the only benefit we have is the head start that 0-4 start gave us
