Fun weekend in CFB. Thankful Clemson lost. I’m big fan on the Tigers but I was dreading them making the playoffs and getting blown out.
This weekend highlights why an expanded playoff is so important. I’d still put Bama in ahead of TCU, Oregon , Michigan. But all three now have a better shot at making the final four.

Recruiting wise there’s only 3 teams in the race for the next few years:
Bama
Georgia
Ohio state
Texas a&m apparently had a great freshman class last year which might help them elevate but impossible to know until it happens
Michigan’s well-coached with decent talent but they’re on a different planet talent-wise to the above teams and in any hypothetical year they make a run they’ll likely have to run through all 3 of those teams on their way to a title
