The Offense Thread

Exactly. Some are just living in denial, referencing to “Playoff Joe” as if he’s just going to become Joe Montana every time he steps foot in the playoffs. He hasn’t been there for a few years now and he’s been the worst starting QB in the league. This offense as a whole is a cluster fuck, but he’s been a HUGE part of it as of late.
Truthfully, too, if Joe is still feeling a lack of confidence in his knee and it's holding him back, he doesn't need to be out there. It'll cost the Ravens more than it'll help them.

I'm totally comfortable playing a back up with instructions to be a good game manager at this point. I don't think Flacco can be a good game manager because he can't reconcile his play from who he thinks he is. Hopefully after last week (where he actually watched film and showed some spunk and urgency with runs), he has finally got a fire under his butt. I don't know if Eli's benching had anything to do with it or it was just him deciding it was time to turn it up as a player. I am thinking the former.

Flacco and company looked absolutely sharp and in sync today. I hope it continues. Maclin and Watson with a couple bad drops though. Feed Collins!!!

The play calling against Detroit was the best of the year. It produced a rhythm and flow which really sparked not only Flacco but the squad as a whole. Collins showed great speed to the edge, something we haven't seen for years. O line is as healthy as they have been all year and hopefully they perform as well against the better defenses. With some play making consistency at WR the offense could really take off through December.

It's like the offense threw the ball downfield or something and it opened up the entire offense. But it is okay Marty will go back to check downs next week. He's gotta keep this wildcard race interesting.

3rd and 2 was his redzone no matter where we were
Just let me have one lmao

Point is they called more downfield plays. Even though Wallace almost dropped that huge one. It really opened up those underneath routes to Moore, Watson, and Maclin, as well as opened more holes for Buck and Collins.
