Week 6 Discussion (Other Teams)

Hall of Famer
If you had The Arizona Cardinals being the last team to be undefeated on your 2021 Bingo Card, congrats. With Kyler Murray taking the next step in his development, Arizona is clearly heading into the right direction. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the race to be the first 0-17 team is still neck and neck between the Jaguars & Lions.

Thursday Night Football
Bucs @ Eagles: Tom Brady's revenge tour continues Thursday Night in the city of Brotherly Love as Tampa head to Philly to take on Jalen Hurts and company. Like most teams, the Bucs are banged up and their defense will be without Lavonte David, Antoine Winfield Jr and TE Rob Gronkowski. With Tampa's secondary hurting, this might be a good chance for Philly to open things up in the passing game. With only Lane Johnson ruled out, Can Philly pull off the upset?

London Special, 9:30am
Dolphins @ Jaguars: London's favorite team returns home as the Jaguars play host to Miami in this battle of Florida teams. With Tua on track to return on Sunday, Miami looks to get the win overseas and get their season back on track. Jaguars are looking for their first win of the season, and you have to wonder how much longer Urban Meyer will be the coach.

1PM Early Games
Packers @ Bears: Chicago fans, Aaron Rodgers won't be playing for you if he ever left the Packers but if Justin Fields pans out, you won't need to worry about that. The Bears are likely to be without their top running backs as David Montgomery is still on IR with a knee injury, Tarik Cohen is on the PUP list and now Damien Williams was added to the COVID list and needs two positives before Sunday to play. If the Bears will win, the defense will need to keep it close for Justin Fields.

Bengals @ Lions: The Lions finding ways to lose is truly heartbreaking, just ask Dan Campbell. Soon enough they will breakthrough but to do so on Sunday they have to beat a 3-2 Bengals team who have been been able to rekindle the connection between Joe Burrow & JaMarr Chase. Given how tough the Jaguars played against the Bengals, don't count out an upset here.

Texans @ Colts: Last Monday, the Colts were outscored 28-3 as the Lamar and the Ravens marched down the field in overtime to win the game. Davis Mills meanwhile almost beat a Bill Belichick led team making it come down to a Field Goal. With the Colts banged up in their secondary, we potentially could see Mills have another solid game that could lead to a win in the league's worst division.

Rams @ Giants: Daniel Jones cleared concussion protocol and will play Sunday against the Rams but once again with Saquon injured, Jones is going to have to outscore Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense without the help of Kenny Golladay. Sitting at 1-4, the Giants have themselves a hole to dig out of if they plan on making this season a success.

Chiefs @ Washington: Tom Brady is immune to the Madden Curse while this time around the Madden Curse has come for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Whatever the case is, a Washington team dealing with an off the field scandal, an offense that is limited by QB play and a defense that seemingly regressed may be what the doctor ordered for the Chiefs. At the same time, given the Chiefs defensive issues this might turn into a shootout allowing Washington to keep up with the Chiefs and pull off the upset.

Vikings @ Panthers:

4PM Late Games

Cardinals @ Browns:
Raiders @ Broncos:
Cowboys @ Patriots:

Sunday Night Football

Seahawks @ Steelers: It's time to let Geno Smith Cook! Geno Smith was quite impressive last week in relief up until the interception. With Wilson out three games, Geno Smith takes center stage against Big Ben on Sunday Night Football. The Seahawks will also be without their top running back Chris Carson while the Steelers just lost JuJu for the season for a shoulder injury. Pittsburgh looks to get back to .500 and gain some momentum heading into the second half of the season.

Monday Night Football

Bills @ Titans: The Buffalo Bills have been putting on a show this season, including a beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs on the road. This isn't the same Bills team the Titans beat 42-16 last season as the Bills defense has been on a roll this season ranking first in most categories. Their third ranked defense against the run hopes to slow down Derrick Henry who could go back to back 2K rushing seasons at this rate. Can the Bills continue their momentum in their quest to win their first Super Bowl?

Brady to OJ Howard for the first score of the night. Going to be interesting to see if Philly's offense can take advantage of the defensive woes for Tampa.

Brady has so many weapons, once again

Yeah kind of weird looking back at 2019 where everyone said he looked done. Nah, the problem was New England didn't have the weapons Brady was used to having. Now he has that in Tampa and dude seems like he might play another 5 years.

idk that brady was used to weapons at all in new england (at least the 2nd half of his pats career) - he had Gronk and Edelman and that was basically it

Wes Welker was top of the league for a bit. He had a supreme running game in 2014 with Blunt and others. And a lot of good defenses , with top FA signings like Talib fresh off a Denver defense driven SB win and Revis.

Good thing our defense doesn't have to play the Bucs this year? Sheesh.

Next year my friend... in Tampa. I'm already planning on going to that game next year. Might be the final chance to see Tom Brady play, then again he might play for another 15 years because why not lol.

That 2 PT conversion looked similar to the end zone plays to Andrews we ran on Monday Night. Interesting call by Philly to go for two there, now a Touchdown and extra point wins the game.

No Fun League strikes again... they just want the players to turn around and walk away? What is this High School? Last I checked these were grown adult men, not high school kids. The fact it's a 15 yard penalty makes the entire situation even worse.

Ahhh, so Bucs fans got to feel like what we Ravens fans felt when playing the Eagles. Dominated the first half, Eagles made a huge run that fell short.
