Next Up: @ Dolphins

Our team is raising my blood pressure 50 millimeteres every game. Here's hoping i can go to sleep easily late Thursday night.

I have so much adrenaline in prime time games that I can't go to bed right after the games.

im so glad i had the foresight to pre-book holiday on the days after all our prime-time games this year lol

the games normally only finish around 5am here and i can never sleep after

We need this to be our typical Dolphin beatdown game. Lamar threw 5 TDs against them in 2019, that's the game I want on Thursday Night.

I'm beginning to wonder if Elliott is just one of those guys that always gets and stays injured. We will really miss him in there.

They are allowing the most amount of pressure in the league, I think, and not surprised with who they have on that OL. This is a game that could get the rush in a rhythm. I know no game is promised, but this one better not be close.

whoop whoop

Feels like we’re starting to come together (as much as we can at this point) at just the right time.

Seems like I always alternate between “this teams going nowhere” and “we might have something special here”. Like come 4th quarter every week I think this teams circling the drain and then another comeback happens, then we get good news during the week, then we go in all excited, get our asses kicked for a half, lose another starter, then win anyway.

wtf even is this team idk but I think if Cleveland is healthy then he’s a massive upgrade over powers, and Oliver to me is barely nfl worthy and boyle should be a huge upgrade. We might be hitting our stride

One of the strangest years in a long while. Oliver is not an NFL TE. Boyle I hope isn't rushed back in because we really really need him. It's weird but I think Ricard has more TE value than fucking Oliver

i mean oliver's not really playing snaps - the guy who loses out with boyle back (if boyle's definitely active) is tomlinson who they already sent to the PS

and i wonder if we see cleveland and powers rotating again once cleveland's healthy again - i think when we last saw them ironically powers was the better run blocker and cleveland the better pass blocker (which says more about powers than cleveland i think at this point) - mekari going down when he did has really hamstrung us in terms of options at that spot - Tyre is completely wasted at RT... watching him maul guys and make blocks in L2 yesterday was fun but he's just not a good enough pass blocker at tackle longterm - he was good enough against the vikings (it was villanueva who mostly got beaten between the 2 tackles) but im confident his best position is at LG

I feel like Phillips is trending to that "what could have been" type of guy. He has so many traits that would indicate he could be a high quality G but (1) he hasn't been able to stay healthy and (2) every time he is healthy, he's needed at T. His opportunity is not over by any stretch but he's got to take that job and run with it the next opportunity he gets. Not completely his fault either. Just unfortunate circumstances all around.
