Next Up: vs Browns

i forgot about ealy lol

loved motley's tape coming out of oklahoma - could not believe he went undrafted

we're short at corner too

Just upgraded my tickets from Section 528 to Section 134 for Sunday's Game. The ones I bought in 528 were $144 each but the ones that were verified resale in 134 were $176. So a small price increase for much better seats and on the Ravens Sidelines. If anyone here wants the seats on 528, let me know before I re-sell them on Ticketmaster.

This drama between Baker and the fans is laughable. I ain't fooled. Chiefs fans and some players were going at it on the socials and now the Chiefs are prospering. I will not be fooled............especially with our secondary who's begging to give up a big play.

Maybe if I troll Marlo hard enough he will turn it around. It's worth a shot.

Of the two games this is the one you have to have because, in an act that is the most blatant scheduling favoritism I have ever seen, the Browns have a bye week after this before the rematch meaning their next 2 games are against the Ravens with a 2 week break in between to prepare.

Meanwhile the Ravens get a nice relaxing game against the Steelers in between.
Just seeing how disoriented the Browns have been on offense, I don't know if this favoritism is going to help too much. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be 10-3 after 3 weeks?

The only 2 questions about Marlon should be "Is he earning his 20 million a year paycheck?"

And if the answer is no then the follow up question should be "Why the fuck not?"

Ealy changed his whole body composition too since the beginning of the year. I suppose if youre gonna get suspended for PEDs then you might as well shed your bodyfat with it.

Think I'd rather be in 528. Not only higher up to see the full field, but you're much closer to mid-field in 528. Won't have great views of at least half the field sitting in 134.
There's a reason why you moved all the way down to field level and it only cost you $30 a ticket, and it's not because the view of the field is better. I'd argue you downgraded, personally.

I don't mind the high level seats but just wanted something closer. I sat in the lower end zone for the Patriots game in 2019 which was fun, Lamar's rushing TD was in that end zone I was sitting in.

yeah... i mean im not advocating for PEDs or anything - but if you're gonna use them... that was the time lol

Oddest body transition of all time. Was apparently in the 280s in 2018.. obviously not the ideal weight for an offensive T. Came back in 2019 40-50 pounds heavier and obviously when you do that, it's gonna be some bad weight. Started to shed and transform some of that in 2020 but still needed more work. Hopefully he got the value out of that 6 game suspension. I agree with you.

I'll advocate for PEDs, or at least, modern PED's. I've yet to hear any reasonable anti-PED argument in my lifetime. It's pure ignorance. People that are anti-PED's think all it does is create Chris Benoit-level roid ragers. That's not rooted in fact.

PED usage in major sports benefits literally everybody. Benefits the players. Benefits the teams. Benefits the fans.

i mean im anti-PEDs because it's paramount to cheating - not because there's any real risks anymore...

OK, but who's being cheated?
The cheating argument only really holds up to comparing people across years or eras. People are only outraged about MLB players using HGH because it gave them advantages over guys like Babe Ruth and others who didn't have such benefits of modern science, nutrition and medicine. If everybody within a certain era has access to the same drugs and has the opportunity, equally, to partake in them (which would occur if it was simply legalized in sports), then there's no cheating argument possible, because there's no unfair advantage to anybody. The unfair advantage is created by a) rules prohibiting its usage, thus making the risk/reward lopsided and b) fans having an oddly weird obsession with comparing athletes across eras, which never made any sense.

In particular, I find the whole "cheating" argument laughably bad when it comes to the NFL. Fans encourage and cheer on angry, dangerous, sometimes maniac players who are the size of mac trucks. We like vicious hitting, we like watching human beings inflict severe bodily harm on others, but somehow we've conjured up this ignorant line of thinking, where there's a "moral line" being crossed by using PEDs to recover from injury or increase performance. Never quite passed the smell test for me.

In the end, I don't think anybody honestly cares about PED usage in the NFL. I go back a decade or so again to Brian Cushing. He wins defensive rookie of the year in 2009, after a dominant season. Everybody and their mother looked at him and thought he was using PED's. Sure enough, 5 months later, he tests positive for hCG, and gets a four game suspension. The Associated Press, who gives the reward, subsequently allowed their voters to re-cast their ballots for DROY, knowing that Cushing likely wasn't clean while he won the award. He was voted DROY again, even after the fact. And this is from the AP, an organization that was notoriously tough on PED users in MLB and others sports in the past, and includes voters who vote for the MLB HOF.

The hypocrisy there isn't something that should be easily ignored.

Hell. Motherfucking. Yes.
