Fire John Harbaugh Thread

I really would be stunned if Steve pulled the trigger on Harbaugh mid season. But unless Harbaugh pulls this season from the ashes he will most definitely be gone and the odds of him doing that are slim to none.

Harbaugh is in self preservation mode. In thinking that he’s in playoffs or die I felt like he’d always look at Joe as his best option.

I’m wondering if still feels that way or could go with Jackson in a last ditch effort to turn things around

Michigan receives John Harbaugh & Unlimited Crabs for the next 10 years
Ravens receive Jim Harbaugh & Automatic Draft Rights to any Michigan OL.
Jim Harbaugh would turn this team around immediately, while passing off the entire front office

Firing him would be to try to save the season and turn the season around. At this point, Ozzie has done everything possible to give this coaching staff the players in order to compete. Ozzie spent two drafts focusing on the Offense and Defense, yet we still have the same inconsistency from Harbaugh. That tells me our issues stem from coaching, and I feel like we are treading on Jeff Fisher, pre Jim Harbaugh 49ers where the team was talented but just didn't have the proper coaching.

Harbaugh has run out of fall guys on the coordinator end, if firing Harbaugh meant this team coming back to life and taking advantage of the tough stretch the Bengals and Steelers have while we can win and turn things around, the division title isn't out of reach but we can't go down the same path until week 17.

Keep Jerry Rosburg but clean house everywhere else.

id keep these coaches:

Jerry Rosburg
James Urban
Joe D'Allessandris
Greg Roman
Chris Hewitt

and that is pretty much it...

I’m still torn on whether I want Harbaugh gone. Lots of good reasons to get rid of him but the other options also frighten me. We definitely need a coaching overhaul that’s for sure. I just know we’ve seen this song and dance before.

Stop right now. Get it out of your head.
We should have seen signs earlier but we opted for excuses.

Don’t get me wrong: getting out coached is definitely on him. That’s happened a lot lately and I can say this year. He’s responsible for that and it’s why I think there’s definite credence to him leaving. With that said, I also think Joe Flacco plays a major role in this so I’m wondering who is the chicken and who is the egg in this equation. If we lose to CIN I say bench Joe and let Harbaugh play Lamar. See if he wins games then and if not get rid of both. I’m so done with Flacco.

I also like the idea of John DeFillippo, current OC of the Vikings and former qb coach for Wentz and Foles. I believe LaFleur and DeFillippo could be the top two candidates this offseason

He’s not a bad option at all. I’m not sure I want LaFleur but maybe DeFillippo. I think we definitely need an offensive-minded HC. The NFL isn’t about defense anymore let’s face it

He'd probably be the top of the list but not only of the Ravens list. He'll be able to choose.
