When even was the last time a HC was traded? If we decide to move on from him, we need to let him work out a deal with whoever he wants to go to and then trade him.

Belichick was traded from the Jets to the Patriots in 2000, though that was technically the Jets demanding something in return after BB left for New England. Gruden was traded to the Buccs in 2002 for a couple first round picks. Herm Edwards was traded from the Jets to the Chiefs in 2006. Holmgren from the Pacters to the Seahawks in 99. Parcells from the Patriots to the Jets in 97.When even was the last time a HC was traded?

Yeah, doesn't happen often. But if teams will believe that we're simply on the fence about Harbaugh and it's not a guarantee that we'll just release him, they could give some offers.So...not likely
Yeah, I really think anything less than a SB and he'll be gone. I just hope we can trade him for picks. If we could get a 1st for Harbs and a 2nd or 3rd for Flacco that would be amazing. Not sure if anyone saw this article from Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun. Never new that Eric DeCosta and Harbaugh don’t really have a good relationship. Also shows how Harbaugh has had some influence into the draft strategies, which has definitely yielded some of the bad picks. He’s definitely gone at the end of the season, imo

It would but I doubt it would happen, think we get a 3rd for Flacco and maybe a 2nd for Harbaugh. Possibly get a better 2020 pickYeah, I really think anything less than a SB and he'll be gone. You are way too optimistic with both I reckon. It would but I doubt it would happen, think we get a 3rd for Flacco and maybe a 2nd for Harbaugh. Possibly get a better 2020 pick
This is a nice read. I didn’t know Eric and John weren’t close so that’s interesting. I think Preston definitely makes some guesses here but I liked the approach the article tookNot sure if anyone saw this article from Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun. Maybe, we shall seeYou are way too optimistic with both I reckon.
I think it will be a miracle if we get any trade offers for either, since everybody knows they are done, anyway. Joe in particular.Maybe, we shall see
I think Flacco will be traded. I’d be surprised if he wasn’t.I think it will be a miracle if we get any trade offers for either, since everybody knows they are done, anyway. Joe in particular.
Harbaugh will have a lot of suitors at both the pro level and college level. I can definitely see someone wanting to jump on that and get first crack at negotiating a long term deal with him.I think it will be a miracle if we get any trade offers for either, since everybody knows they are done, anyway. Joe in particular.
I thought a quarterback needy team would have offered us something for RG3 and a team needing a kicker would have offered us something for Vedvik before he got hurt, so I am a little skeptical on trades right now.
Definitely a reasonable response and totally understandableI thought a quarterback needy team would have offered us something for RG3 and a team needing a kicker would have offered us something for Vedvik before he got hurt, so I am a little skeptical on trades right now.
I didn’t either and that was pretty telling, if you ask me.This is a nice read. I didn’t know Eric and John weren’t close so that’s interesting. I think Preston definitely makes some guesses here but I liked the approach the article took
I don't think you need to have a close relationship between GM and HC to be successful. I only consider this a problem if they can't find common ground. I am still thinking Flacco has been the problem for the last couple of seasons. This is a nice read. I didn’t know Eric and John weren’t close so that’s interesting.
