Marlon Humphrey Arrested

You are being biased towards your HOME team player. He took the charger. The Uber driver obviously caught him. Yet Humph ended up with the charger in his possession. Fill in the lines. I’m sure the Uber driver informed him it was his and attempted to keep his charger he needed for work. Yet Humph showed his masculinity in front of the girls. And forcefully took the charger. And the charger didn’t fit Humphs phone so it clearly wasn’t his. The police found enough evidence to upgrade the charges to forced robbery. He was drunk. So drunk he thought a charger was his that didn’t even fit his phone.
If he converted to safety you wouldn't be singing this same tune

I would but I wouldn’t want to trade or cut’em. It’s not what I think it’s what the judge thinks. The the Uber driver tried to get HIS charger and was pushed away or threatened. Then he took it with force. Which is a small felony

But if Humphrey thought it was his, it's totally plausible that Humphrey was defending his property while not in his right mind.

Which boils down to a misunderstanding, verbal harassment, and drunken misconduct.

Which boils down to he used force to take something that was not his. Which is a small felony. Judge will say if you thought it was yours you shoulda called a policer himself. People do get records over small felonies of force and threats. Doesn’t take much

So Humphrey has something in his possession he believes is his, someone demands he hands it over, he then has to call the police and wait for them to determine who should have it? What if the charger WAS Humphreys? Does he still have to call the police?

If I'm walking down the street with my phone in hand and someone demands I hand it over, I tell them go fuck themselves and you're damn right I threaten, what I WONT do, is be a cuck and call the police while the guy takes my shit and leaves.

Now if Humphrey approached the uber driver before leaving and said "gimme that charger before I fuck you up" then obviously that's a different story, but according to every report that's not what happened. Humphrey had the charger in his possession and the driver demanded it back, and in confusion a drunk Humphrey told the guy to fuck off because he mistakenly thought it was his.

I myself have been in near fights over this kind of stupid ass exchange because I've been drunk and mistaken about something. This isn't felony level shit, stop trying to convince all of us that it is just because you have a crusade against Humphrey. For someone who is so big on alpha males you sure seem to think beta is the way to go when someone demands you hand over your shit.

Yes he has been charged, but the Prosecutor has a tremendously weak case and a reasonable one likely would have passed. There are a lot of dumb prosecutors out there though, so I'm not surprised. Really the only evidence he has is that the charger ended up with Humphrey.

The Uber driver is the stereotypical bad witness complete with the "strike that left no mark" and the missing fist full of chargers that he also alleged that Humphrey stole. So unless there's some kind of security tape or something like that, I don't understand why this has progressed as far as it did.

This is my last comment on this matter. I'll watch what transpires hoping he's no longer a Raven in short order.

You might want to start with the Alabama Criminal Code:

Section 13A-8-43 - Robbery in the third degree.
Universal Citation: AL Code § 13A-8-43 (2014)
Section 13A-8-43
Robbery in the third degree.

(a) A person commits the crime of robbery in the third degree if in the course of committing a theft he:

(1) Uses force against the person of the owner or any person present with intent to overcome his physical resistance or physical power of resistance; or

(2) Threatens the imminent use of force against the person of the owner or any person present with intent to compel acquiescence to the taking of or escaping with the property.

(b) Robbery in the third degree is a Class C felony.

You're clearly wrong regarding the evidence, which derives from more than one Uber Driver. There's the officers statement based on his initial interview with the parties involved. Two women, Humpf and the Driver. There's Humpf turning the charger back over after the officer determined it did not fit Humpfs phone and returned it to the driver.

The officer was a University of Alabama Officer who did not wish to charge Humpf with Robbery, but the reviewing prosecutors were State Attorney's fully aware of who they were about to elevate the charges upon.

And of course, this is all pre discovery which you assume is nada, where its likely the girls and other lookers on will be deposed. You also make short shrift of corroborating digital evidence in the computer age. Uber Drivers carrying Drinking Fares are wired Brotato Chip.

Obviously being too drunk to know you pulled the trigger is no defense to lack of intent.

Anyway, Humpf was weak on the law and evidence too or he wouldn't have thrown away his "career" like that.

A Hard Rain's gonna fall.

Honestly, I think he's trade bait or a cut.

Now, he's not near sharp enough to play corner, nor anywhere close to Free Safety. IF he gains some weight and is willing to stick his head in there maybe SToNg SaFTey, mostly cuz we got a bunch of guys there now that are expendable.

you have to be a good player to be trade bait... otherwise nobody's trading for you...

Two Game Suspension...then Lifetime Ban...without a conviction.

Here's what Stevie B. is doing. He's watching the press reports. If he hasn't talked with Goodell yet, he's weighing when. There's been an indictment, but the first hearing in court for trial scheduling and/or plea bargaining hasn't occurred yet. Its possible it could be pled to a lesser included offense, but taking property by intimidation is a very tough nut to ignore. Especially intimidation which was within the context of inebriation. There is no excuse in the law for that type of "wilding".

Now Ray Rice faced no Felony Conviction. If a Felony Conviction appends to this situation and even if it doesn't the NFL has to act.

Once again, my view is Trade Bait or Cut, without regard to ultimate conviction and its pretty clear he is not tradable at this juncture.

i dont think you've ever even spoken to a lawyer...
you're insane

Your missing something. The Uber driver caught him. And more than likely put up some resistance. Yet after his resistance the charger was in Humphs possession. Which indicates Humph pushed over his attempt to keep his phone charger. Which indicates force

even the uber driver's report indicated that the only physical contact was a soft elbow that left no injury or any pain...

Taking something with force or threats is robbery by force

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha “hoping he’s no longer a Raven in short order” honestly I don’t know why I don’t have you muted anymore. It’s obvious at this point that you are either a Steelers fan or you have the brain the size of a fucking pebble. I’m sick of your shit RayRay.

Before I get warned by a mod, I’m already muting this dumb ass. No need to tell me I need to ignore him.

you really telling me that you think a league that allows domestic abusers and people convicted/accused of other awful crimes to continue playing with minor suspensions is gonna cause humphrey's career to end over a $15 phone charger

i guess i already knew this but you're out of your mind

haha but you'd miss the best comedy on this site...
also im not sure it would change anything - it doesnt seem like rayray needs an audience...

Ignorance is a blissful place to dwell. Give Humpf a call, the two of you have a lot in common.

not sure how what i said indicates ignorance given that i literally just gave you a statement based on an official report of the incident - no conjecture just fact...

but if using facts is ignorance i guess fake news has really taken off in the home of rayray
