seen the 1 playoff win in 7 years stat a lot and... i get it it's frustrating but that's contextless and dumb

feels like it's disingenuous framing when it seems more realistic to me to say that it's the first non-playoff appearance since we drafted lamar

agreed - was not looking forwards to a week of having people try and convince me a ty huntley led ravens (or a lamar coming off no practice for 5 weeks) had even a modicum of a chance against the chiefs lol

obviously sucks that we're not in the dance but with the way this team is (and with bowser potentially down long-term too now) the 14th-16th pick and a 4th place schedule seems more valuable than an extra game

atleast Lamar isn't coming back next week to lose to the Chiefs and everyone jump on Lamar for losing another playoff game.

I hope the last few games finally put to bed the delusional talk by some that Huntley is close to Lamar level. It’s not close and I guarantee you we would have made the playoffs with a healthy Lamar even with all the injuries.

There’s a difference between the next man up and the next next next next next man up like we had in our secondary and backfield

the fact that, without any exaggeration, we have at various points this season had our 11th and 12th best corners having to play starter level snaps and have been playing guys on the backend who've not played a game in 2 years

and tons of space to put it over or around any underneath defender - bateman was like 15 yards away from him with no one within 5 yards of him in any direction

that's a frustrating live read - like if he just didnt see bateman fine but to see him and turn it down there is worrying

not sure - i never understand it - sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt...

right now though it seems to me that we're slated for 3 picks in the top 80, 6 picks in the top 125 (ish) and 9 picks in the top 150 (ish) - not sure where those comp picks will finally come out and put those late 3rd and early 4th picks at the end of the day

either way this draft is gonna give us a ton of opportunities to find guys
