Kate Mara's family owns both the Steelers and the Giants. Her fathers family owns the Giants and her mothers family owns the Steelers. Talk about a football family. I think this is not a coincidence that Hortiz is interviewing for both teams.
i mean tbf the steelers have interviewed like 12+ candidates at this point for a position that they arent even going to take over until after the draft

doesn't look like Harbs is scheduled for one - might not be a massive combine presence... we'll have to see - could be that EDC's got a similar philosophy to Snead with regards to removing biases and things like that - we know Snead and and McVay are going back to LA as soon as their media availability's finished

That's the game I planned on going to too but Brady's retirement makes me rethink it.
I feel like the combine is starting to die a bit and with what almost happened with the boycott, it might be on its last legs.

it'll never completely disappear because it's still valued as a pre-free agency conflab and the only time you get to have prospects all in one place for medical checks and weigh-ins
but i think the workout portion of it may well disappear or at least have to change significantly in the near future to survive because right now the workouts and the testing aren't particularly relevant to the teams anymore
there's absolutely no reason that players should be doing the bench press lol (i imagine a bunch of guys wont even bother this year and will opt out of the bench)

My biggest concern about the draft is we draft defensive line early including the 1st pick. We absolutely must protect Lamar or we aren't going anywhere. Center ,LG and yes LT or RT . I think Ronnie is sadly done. Not kidding. Even DeCosta admitted it was his biggest mistake offseason was thinking Ronnie would be ready. I really respect Eric for saying that because it was the truth.
