Good job everyone in FA last evening. Really well played and for the most part everyone got a good deal. Even @allblackraven didn't have to overbid for Cousins. I mean he may end up receiving more than that on an annual basis in real life. I also like he put his bid out there and never had to bid again. In previous years he probably would have gone for 60 stars.

obviously that's probably partly indicative of the high amount of new players etc. but i also think that part of it is that finally the nfl is starting to find qbs on a consistent basis - there are fewer teams without qbs than there have been before + there might be 5 day 1 starters in the draft

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on this year. Thought it was a fair starting bid for Cousins but if someone was going to go over 35, I'd be out of that game.

This was part of the reason I came in on the bidding for AJ McCarron. Besides him being worth what I paid for him and then some. I knew you weren't going to bid too much for him since you just landed Cousins.

Fair point, but I think it is what you mentioned. Over half are new players this year.
