The only thing I'd even consider and I wouldn’t even really consider that is a strong first round pick.

I dont think it's a good idea. It creates an unnecessary hole and that's Lamars guy.

Don't mess with that is what I say
Yea it doesn't make any sense at all unless it's in a package for Deebo

to you and anyone else who wants to rat on the Steelers, they have beaten us 4 straight times.
we are there bitch.
And that matters why? Last year they beat Tyler Huntley in OT to make a playoff game they weren't competitive in. The year before that they beat Trace McSorley at home by 5.

They're the least of anybody's concerns at the moment.

What about the two other games where they beat Lamar and sacked him every other play?

Well everybody sacked Lamar last year, so that's not particularly impressive.

What did you find impressive in that game from the Steelers? They won because we failed to convert a 2PC to end the game. The Steelers didn't lead until 2 minutes left in the game. Sure, they won, as did a lot of teams that played the Ravens last year, but winning an individual game doesn't mean you played well. We beat teams when playing poorly all the time.

From what I recall from the year before, Lamar turned the ball over a ton, and Pittsburgh did nothing on offense.

You're going to need to do more than beat Lamar twice to make somebody your bitch. That's like thinking the Titans own us...

Lamar's stats in 3 games vs the Steelers (one in each year)

4 tds, 6 interceptions, 5 fumbles sacked 16 times
59.5% completion %
207 passing ydpg
67.4 rating

0 rushing tds
2 losses, 1 win

and imo, him missing 2 additional games hurts, not helps his argument. both games we should have won if we didn't have covid / injuries, but we'd be current champs with that same logic.
they fucking own us and he hasn't been able to beat their defense.

obviously I want nothing more than a 2011 week 1 lamar jackson dominate win over the steelers. but my entire arugment was its ridiculous to say we don't have to worry about the steelers defense

putting an additional hole in our team when we have a ? at (2x, 3x) corner, rusher, maybe center, maybe OT
by trading hollywood would be straight up stupid

nothing less than a 1st rounder in some capacity would do - we've still got 2 years of control over a dangerous WR

if we're getting rid of him it would have to be for enough value that we can reasonably attempt to replace him with a draft pick which to me says minimum 1st rounder otherwise why would we get rid of him...

which makes me pretty confident it's not gonna happen because if teams have been balking at the Deebo asking price, i doubt they'd go after hollywood instead

I'm betting we are going to trade up a few spots to get the man we covet most.

Really? You don’t think Penning will be there at 14?

Hmm.. you’re right. If we like him that much, we should secure him.

Braxton Jones to the Seahawks round one ^_^
it is funny, but look at his point....it's the Seahawks.

Anyway, his brother works for the U of O football team and confirms that KT is a dick. He comes across well in interviews and speaks very well, says all the right things, so I don't know what to think about him.

Well, I don't. Our offense has done fine against their defense. Haven't had problems moving the ball much, just making bad turnovers and forcing things.
Also I care more about their defense as a whole for a 17 game season as opposed to the two games we play them. Defenses can have great games and bad games all the time. In a macro, season long sense, I'm not concerned about their defense being able to hold up against better teams in this league. That's my point. If people are leaning on that defense to carry them to the playoffs, then they better do a tremendous job in the next three days to upgrade it, because I don't see it at the moment.

If we win the division and go 0-2 against Steelers and they miss the playoffs, I'm more than fine with it.

alright fellas. It’s that time of the year again.

Guess which Michigan player Harbs draft this year.

I’ll go with Andrew Stueber
If they could trade up and snag Ojabo in the second, I'd actually be happy with a Michigan pick.

Oh for Penning, we need to start talking to Jacksonville ASAP! 3, #1 picks and the rest of our picks this year should do it.

haha good call
ravens have only ever drafted 5 michigan players in their history
4 have been since Jim took over at michigan lol

just not sure anyone outside of daxton hill is a good fit this year and he's more likely to go between our picks

could have been ojabo before his injury
