last year was a blip - lamar from 2018-2020 was excellent against the blitz
and looks like he is again

This definitely is gonna help our running game. Getting shades of 2019 where the opposing defense is gonna have to make a decision. Keep blitzing or lighten up in the box and allow our running game to get going as Dobbins (and eventually Gus) continues to ease in.

The dude played in an offense that was still on its way to actually being as effective as it is today passing wise (the Ravens were clearly not the pass offense they are today in 2020 or 2021),worked his ass off and got better every year, and only made one public complaint after he balled the fuck out (soulja's tweet.) Then, he silently requested a trade and was NOT a distraction at all. Shit, we didn't even know he'd requested a trade until draft night and apparently he'd requested one ahead of the 2021 season, too.
