I think Skura is a great pick up. He has played very well the last few days, not to mention he was a UDFA who played center. He has always been run blocking well, but he has stepped up in the passing game. If nothing he is a great piece of depth.
I agree and no one saw this coming. Not at all. Again most of the credit should go to Roman and the OL coach.I think Skura is a great pick up. Greg Robinson is out there. Somebody needs to try him at guard. He doesn't have the feel for protecting the edges on an island. But in a phone booth he could be a monster of a guard.
Yes, I believe he isisnt he injured?
Exactly why I had a feeling Stanley would be the better player, atleast early on. Quenton Nelson and McGlinchy also come from Notre Dame, like Stanley.Robinson has played guard, he might have the best physical tools in the league but he's a horrendous run blocker. He's the reason why teams are wary of linemen that come from spread style offense, they never learned how to play in a three point stance.

True, not just Notre Dame either, Iowa, Wisconsin, USC, Ohio State etc. Linemen who are used to the three point stance have more efficiency and balance and more access to their power.
Yep, Notre Dame is just the newest of those oline factory schoolsi like watching those notre dame, wisconsin and iowa linemen

Yep, he’s got plenty of time to throw. This wasn’t the case earlier in the season but it has been he last 4 weeks. Flacco ans Marty’s 1 read offense is due most of the blame.
Got ya. I still think it's a telling stat, in the matter that our entire playbook is a dart to the flat for anything from 2 yards to -2 yards. The 2.45 sec is the time he takes to throw on average, not the time provided him to throw. Flacco is 5th fastest to unload the ball, which could be a measure of pressure, anxiety, or a lack of mobility. Most of the scramblers have the longest times to throw. Derek Carr is the big exception, because he's unloaded fastest of any QB in the league.
I've never been so happy to see a 3rd string G return.I think Skura is a great pick up. He has played very well the last few days, not to mention he was a UDFA who played center. Absolutely, I've got on Eluemanour a lot but man, dude was flat out terrible.in most situations that 3rd string g is coming in as an injury replacement, not as the starter lol
