If you want to draw correlation between WRs and Roquan, go for it. You gotta do you. Wouldn't recommend selling it though, since I don't think anybody is going to buy it.

So here's the thing for me... why the fuck is Cooks bitching about not being traded? You just signed an extension six months ago. What's happened that makes you think you should be traded now? What, did you expect the Texans to be good? The season's gone exactly how everybody expected it would.

Like who signs an extension after playing with a team for 2 years, and then decides six months later "I want a trade"?
 
Just look at PJ Walker in Carolina who has DJ Moore, Heinicke has Scary Terry in Washington, Geno has Metcalf, yet Lamar has who? Those QBs are nowhere near the talent level of Lamar yet their receivers elevate them.

Monday Night in New Orleans might just have to borrow a page from New England. Run every play and only throw three times. Even with Michael Thomas going on IR, Dalton still has Olave, Landry and Tre'Quan Smith to rip our secondary apart with.

It really feel like we’re sabotaging his stats. Gonna try and win off defense and run game, then use his stat line to lower his price tag at the negotiating table.

Like how do you not make a move knowing Bateman is done for the year?

Well the FO was hoping Bateman was going to be the "guy" but so far he's just an injury prone wr.

Well yeah because those teams aren't paying shit for their QBs either, and those receivers have been there for awhile.
 
I really hope Bateman is not another 1st round receiver bust. He said he never got hurt in college but here we are and hes already been injured 2 seasons in a row.

A release would seem odd to me. First, you get literally no compensation in return, and second, if he's just going to refuse to play, while being healthy, its an easy suspension for the team, so they won't have to pay him anyway.

I'd just do the latter and then trade him in the offseason.
