Lamar Jackson

I don’t like the OC hire.Why ? I have no idea
Not sure why you wouldn’t like this guy. He’s got NFL coordinator experience. Tampa from 2016 - 2018 where they went 19-29, and then Cleveland in 2019 with mayfield where they went 6-10. His bulldogs were bad to the bone though.

Seriously though, I no nothing about this guy.

Easy now. 2 things can be true. Early on Brady wasn't this world beater at QB for most of this early years.

After that however it was clear Brady was separating himself from the pack especially after the 4th superbowl win.
Unitas, Montana, Stabler, Young, Marino, etc., etc. all better, especially considering they were often calling their own plays and also didn't have the benefit of the rule changes helping QBs and offenses.

Pat is now separating himself with a combination of talent, athleticism, creativity and toughness. 2 or 3 of those things Brady was very low on, I'll let you pick which ones. lol

I am taking Brady over every single QB. Pat is the only guy with a chance to change that for me

Mahomes really is better
lol. Nothing to do with recency bias. Just my opinion, but Brady has never been the top QB, not even close. Many before him much better, not just recent with Pat.
Nah.
1) Better Arm - Mahomes You disagree?
2) Accuracy - Dead even . You disagree?
2) Better Runner-Mahomes You disagree?
Any objective fan puts Brady on the GOAT Rushmore right along side with Jordan, Gretzky, Messi, Woods etc … and you want to talk about guy who’s played in the league for 5 years being on the same level. No way. You all are way to far removed from the pats days of dominance to remember how good Brady was, especially that 04-10 timeframe

Those Bucs teams were trash (2016 finished strong after a trash start). Jameis was a walking tick time bomb.....I mean INT machine.

In 2019, wasn't Freddie Kitchens the one calling plays? That Browns offense in 2019 should've been bitch-slapping defenses the way we did in the regular season. Problem for them? Baker was laughably trash in that season.

Basically my point is that I don't know how much Monken was responsible for the failures of the Bucs and Browns. However, he helped make Georgia a really good offense with what's been reported about his adaptability. I'm not gonna put MUCH stock into his history. Remember, Wink had a bottom ranked defense in Denver before he left, but made our defense a top 10 unit for a few seasons prior to 2021.

I know you don't like Brady but he didn't start crying for flags until around 09. I don't think I'd knock his toughness. For the first 3, he took his share of hits.

I personally still don't mind if you want to put Montana ahead. This GOAT debate is impossible to realistically have. No one knows all eras and I don't trust their memory if they have seen all of the NFL. For Brady's generation, I think it's hard to say he wasn't the best. Makes it a lot easier when Manning was constantly shitting himself in big moments.
