Unions always want wins vs the owners because the owners are looking to avoid financial liability at every turn and it comes at the workers/players expense.Seems much more likely Lamar is simply a pawn in the NFLPAs agenda. Which is unfortunate because they don’t care about the game or the fans. They just want to get a “win” vs the owners.
If not for the PA, the owners would be get able to get away with literally whatever they want and careers would end with injuries and players would be left assed out of their contracts.
There’s always the notion of “you signed a contract, so play it out” but where’s that same standard when the owners wanna cut a player due to injuries? They signed that contract, honor it. The players union is looking out for the guys that we tune in to watch every Sunday, the owners look out for their profit margins.
