Peyton ended up winning 2 though lol. I’m more than fine with that for Lamar, however long it takes. Let the media and dumbass fans keep criticizing - they’ll just move the goalposts once he wins one or more anywaysI don't want this future for our guy or our team. Fuck that
Thread about to drive me to drink.

Edit - don’t think Lamar’s winning any under Harbaugh though
He threw more INTs than TDs in his first Super Bowl during the playoffs (3:7 ratio). Second one he threw more INTs than TDs in the regular season and did basically nothing in the playoffs. I hope the rest of the team could carry Lamar for onceDragged to one. Pick 6 to end one. Blown out in another they were favorites. And that bears sb was fucking awful to watch. Mile high miracle against us. No. We've had enough pain.
The good news is Lamar has looked better each year. Hopefully we can maintain this health luck and avoid the back breaking mistakes.
I just don’t buy the “Allen had no help” bullshit. Bro had James Cook, Dalton Kincaid, Amari Cooper, a first round WR in Keon Coleman, and some other solid role players on offense. Lamar was throwing to fucking Seth Roberts and Willie Snead with an aging Mark Ingram, rookie Hollywood and second year Mark when he led the league in throwing touchdowns his first MVP-winning year when Josh led in very little besides maybe goal line rushing touchdowns this year, so I just don’t see how he was the MVP this seasonFunny I actually think the voters divided this up correctly. In a splitting hairs race, Lamar did deserve to be the 1st team all pro and Allen did deserve MVP.

If Cook had as many carries as Henry he would've had 1600 yards, so he might not be Henry but he is a damn good back that Bills "fans" have said isn't good to make the MPP look better. Also while Zay and Bate are better than there counterparts, the bills WRs 3-5 were significantly better than what we had. Additionally, the bills oline and defense were both better than what we had this season. Overall, Allen had a stronger supporting cast than Lamar did which is shown by the fact that Lamar did not win a game this season with a passer rating below 114, while allen won a game with a fucking 60.6 passer ratingCook is a very good back, he ain't Henry. Kincaid is a nice TE, he'd be the 3rd best TE in Baltimore. Zay outplayed anybody on the Bills outisde. I think they got it right, Jackson had the best season, Allen was the most valuable to his team. Splitting hairs totally, but they both were very deserving.

The probowl is atleast partially a popularity contest and some of the ravens voted to it didn't actually deserve to get in. Lamar had to play near perfect for us to win while allen didn't. Lamar was 0-5 in games with a passer rating below 114 on the other hand allen was 4-2 in games where he had a passer rating below 100. That clearly shows that allen had the better overall roster that could cover for him when he didn't play lights outWhat was it like 8 pro bowlers to 1?

Popularity contest. Hell I'm sure some of the votes for our guys came from bills "fans" to make Lamar look worse. The facts are that Lamar HAD to play better for us to win than Allen had to for the bills to win. That makes Lamar more valuable than allenYeah but 8 to 1. 3 All pros to zero. It's not even close. You can dig into the guts all you want but voters and the public have every right to form opinions on that info. I'm cool with All pro Lamar and Mvp Josh. I would have been cool with co-mvp's or either won winning but I think this was fair.

After this awards ceremony and the general reffing bullshit that the nfl has had for the last 5+ seasons I'm having a really hard time not seeing the nfl as a shittier version of wwe. Atleast the current wwe pushes people that are popular and people cheer forIt's whatever but I can't lie. After seeing the voting list from last year I immediately started caring less about these awards. Never paid attention prior but that peek behind the curtain was something. And expected Barkley to win OPOY but the fact that Chase didn't get a single vote to me is insane.
MVP was an urban legend. A myth around these parts like the loch ness monster. Never in my previous years as a fan did I think we'd have a qb who was even considered MVP caliber. We are so not used to having a MVP LMAO
