Exactly right. He doesn't need to be Peyton. Just be dangerous enough to force defenses to respect his arm. When that happens, lights are getting put out, courtesy Action Jackson.
I wanted to post this earlier regarding his poise. But in general in feels nice to have a qb who can create something out of nothing.
From Warren Sharp. Lamar Jackson has the no. 2 passer rating when playing from behind
Surprise! Lamar Jackson has the #2 passer rating (121) when trailing, trailing only Patrick Mahomes.

Thanks for the deflation, but your small sample size statement is very true.im as big a lamar fan as any
but lamar's sample size is a total of 53 snaps... and as indicative of his talents as it may be it's not really a large enough sample that you can make any kind of conclusion except to remark at maybe why the sample size is so small...
at which point you could argue that lamar's offensive style means that the ravens are unlikely to ever be behind by a large amount which would naturally mean we trail less than other teams all things being equal

Thinking it was the fourth down play, Crab was open and the ball sailed out of the EZ, uncatchable. Also thinking Crab was flagged for OPI?do you remember when it happened - id like to have a look at it - i dont remember - i assumed you meant the one on the first drive

no pun intended?I couldn't agree more! Glad for the win last night of course; but I was pissed that they weren't allowing Lamar to beat the Chargers defense with his arm more. That pass to Andrews for a TD was on the mark and I finally got to see a receiver catch a pass on the run for a TD. Finally! Oh, was it a beautiful thing!
no pun intended?
*sigh* Mili, Mili, Mili. What's Andrews's first name? THAT'S the pun, dammit! What would be the pun to you?

Right on the Mark (Mark Andrews)What would be the pun to you?

Pretty sure it was a fade, It was at least treated like on, crab back corner, highpoint touch pass, it just went way too high and way too hard.ooh lol that play was a mess start to finish - but i dont remember that being a fade - could be wrong though

Think 4th down super bowl 47... same receiver, similar route, pushing off, ball sailing into the goddamn parking lot
I think he completion will def get higher than 60%. Because he doesnt make bad decisions, i think he will automatically get above 60%.. if his accuracy improves i wanna see 65... edit, 65 a lil high lolgiven how defences are already finding it difficult - if his completion percentage gets consistently up around 60% or better we're gonna be a really tough offence to stop
