Lamar Jackson

If we end up cleaning house I wouldn't be against trading him to the Falcons for a boat load of picks. We'd be in position for a QB like Anthony Richardson (a guy built in the mold of Justin Fields) or Tanner Mckee (reminds me of Herbert) with the Falcons' first round pick. Then snag someone like Cedrick Tillman or Marvin Mims Jr later in the first.

lol... he's the reason Lamar won mvp? I suppose Caldwell is the reason we won the SB.

I would bet a large sum of money many said they didn't want that style of offense to continue which is why a large portion of us have wanted Roman gone.

Been saying this and will keep saying it. One of the dumbest things this franchise has done if they truly believe in Lamar is keeping Roman around the past 2 years. At minimum we should have been on OC number 2 this year to see what he could do in another scheme. Now you're at a crossroads where it seems like you're questioning his capability but I personally don't think you can't rightfully judge him AND now you have to decide whether to pay him. That said we know he can carry a semi-competent team to the post season but how will things look when he's taking up a large portion of the cap? I'm all for dumping Harbaugh if we could bring in Payton but highly doubt we would because he comes off as a scumbag and we know how this franchise loves to preserve it's image.
Wait... Caldwell isn't the reason we won the SB? I thought firing Cam and going to Caldwell was the precise thing that made us SB contenders. Or at least, that's what I've been told for a decade and reminded of daily from the "fire Roman mid-season and watch us blossom" crowd.

Now its not true apparently? It's all been a lie?

Article also makes zero mention of why it makes sense for the Ravens or what package of picks/assets the Falcons would be willing to give up to get him.

It's clearly just written by a Falcons "writer" who sees a team with cap space and uncertainty at QB. There's about 15 of those teams also.

Although I don't think Lamar gets traded, it certainly won't be the Falcons who only have one 1st round pick. They have 1 1st round pick and although it's most likely going to be a top 5 pick, that isn't enough. If any team would work, it would be the Seahawks, who have two 1st round picks and one of those is Denvers pick, the other is currently sitting at around 16 or 17. We would also need more than two 1st round picks.

Starting over without Lamar would be quite painful for years. How many? Who knows .

Lol. Whoa whoa whoa... I don't mind your other arguments but don't rain on my fire Roman parade. And I don't think the offense will magically be fixed this year. I just want that terrorist gone.

So to pair a dual threat QB with Greg Roman, AGAIN lol

Could you imagine lol. Keep Roman, let Lamar walk, draft another dual-threat QB and start it all over again

For what it's worth with Caldwell, Caldwell was a major turning point in how the Ravens operated because Cameron used lots of vertical, outbreaking routes and lots of routes that targeted the sideline.

Caldwell took Pitta and Boldin and used both drastically more in the slot and used both on crossing routes that stretched the defense horizontally.

I do not think the Ravens win the Super Bowl without Caldwell.

Honestly that would be grounds to leave. lmfao

Cuz imagine trading him and bringing in another QB and then giving that QB a different OC? Either way it looks HORRIBLE lol

sounds very harbaughish. I could see it.

That means the end times would be rapidly approaching. The apocalypse is looming.

Lmao I was going to call Danny but I feel like rmc would thrive in that role. I got James
hahahahahaha. He's the perfect board member for Danny.

Im basing my choice on 1. Its the end of the world and 2. the bathroom/capri sun scene.
