Lamar Jackson

You keep saying this and that's not true
Here’s the text from the radio dialogue. If you have something different please let me know.

While maybe not flattering, nowhere does he say Lamar was skipping treatments.

As a floridan, where it never snows and recently its been 35- 40 degrees which feels like the world is gonna come to an end… if i was holding out, i would for a fking fact….. not be on those sidelines freezing my ass off. I wouldnt even be able to fake it lol.
Lamar been up north long enough lol

lol. Mike Preston is the one reporting that he’s working diligently on track to return.

What do you think "needs more due diligence in getting adequate rest, eating a healthy diet, being alert in meetings and workouts, and getting proper rehabilitation instructions" means? And "needs to get over to the complex on a regular basis"?

I think it means he trolled a bunch of people and they took the bait! lol. It’s what he does.

A lot of that stuff was inferred at times last year as well.

lol that's exactly what he's implying (and outright stating) with how he's written it lol + the fact he then says the exact same thing on the radio lol

He took the “leaked info” and ran with the theme to get the clicks, but nowhere did he outright state that Lamar skipped treatments. That was someone else’s words, not his.

Again, I’ve never been a Mike Preston fan, I don’t enjoy his type of “journalism”. I just find it funny(sad) that people latch onto social media quotes, declare them factual without research.

News reporters throwing out bait(aka lies) to see how many people get in an uproar over it is the exact definition of unethical

Yep, done all day, every day, and the reason I watch and read very little “news”. It’s sad what it’s done to our society.

Then why are you trying to defend him as "believable" when you admit that his first report was bait?

when it comes to 105.7 the fan and Mike Preston, it's not really believable.
This was the original post that you were replying to, btw.

Wasn’t trying to defend him, or saying he was “believable”. I would not be one to defend Preston as I’ve never liked his writing or style. I was merely trying to point out that folks were taking a tweet from some random person and blowing it into a factual statement without researching what had actually been said.

But he did actually say it, and you provided the quote of him saying it. I don't know how else you would interpret those 2 paragraphs.
