Lamar Jackson

Not sure. Here are some options they could have explored.

Josh Johnson, Can Newton, Blake Bortles, Mike Glennon, Sean Mannion, AJ McCarron, Tim Boyle, etc.

Maybe they're literally all worse that AB and hurt Huntley. I'd really doubt it though.

Weren’t some of those guys literally on other teams though lol…

It’s after the trade deadline

I suspected HIPPA privacy compliance had something to do with the way pro sports teams handle info on injuries.

HIPAA, not HIPPA, is for health care professionals, not members of a sports team coaching staff.

It's kind of funny how hard Tank reaches because he doesn't like Lamar.

Lamar gave us his all these last 4/5 yrs.. even when there was nothing to give on offense, he made it happen. His will to put the team on his back and carry us has become underrated.. he has handled this shit really well imo so if he wanna hold out or demand a trade or whatever yall think is going on, we should all just respect it

Appreciate Lamar but franchise quarterbacks especially the elite ones are always looked upon as carrying the team and making special things happen on offense or things on offense that we didn't think could happen. This is why most of them make more money than any other position in The NFL. When we talk about Peyton Manning,Aaron Rodger, Tom Brady, Patrick Malhommes ( might have spelled that last name wrong) and more it's like we put them in a light as if they are the superman of their team since they were/are looked upon to save the day all the time. So I don't think this same expectation in regards to Lamar Is underrated but really just expected to a degree.

I respect Lamar Jackson if he wants to hold out or be traded but I don't think he necessarily has handle his business properly. His tweet announcing the details about his injury from a business and financial standpoint is not good especially if he looking to make the most money somewhere else. Borderline grade 3 PCL sprain typically requires surgery and the healing process can take up to 6 to 10 months. That's probably something a player wants to keep to his self to keep his value up in regards to free agency but it is what it is.

If anything it's a damn good soap opera. Is he or isn't he injured? Is it the contract situation? Will the Ravens pay him what he wants? Dum dum da dummmm.

You get down to it if he wasn't injured he'd be playing. No way he's trying to deter the Ravens from using the tag. Nobody in their right mind thinks we letting him go for a 3rd rd comp. He is also not trying to become known as an injury prone player and he damn sure isn't going to let his team mates down cuz of selfishness. Let's be real!!

Also with the contract no way fn way does he get aguaranteed contract and he needs to come off that high horse if he's on it. Just cuz a foolish ass orginazation like the Browns can offer a ridiculos contract like that doesn't mean hey let's top it. You can't up the stupid.

Tyler went 2-2 while scoring 12 points a game….
Against the likes of the Trubisky led Steelers and the Desmond Ridder led Falcons, two teams on par with how bad the Ravens look offensively with Huntley.

The Ravens wouldn't go 0-17 with Huntley, but they're not competing for the playoffs, let alone a Super Bowl.

Lamar is elite, but he's not Manning, Rodgers, Brady or Mahomes

The sample size says they just miss the playoffs with a bum like Huntley, which is exactly my point of inserting a talented 1st round rookie or a bridge Qb( Carr/ Jimmy G) and we’re still a low level playoff team thanks to this defense.
I know the Lamar obsessed hate to admit it, but this team is still competitive without him thanks to the other side of the ball. I know people are petty and want to see this happen if he leaves, but we’re not falling into a pit of misery next year regardless of the contract out come.

The sample size suggests he can beat horrid offenses. He is NOT going to lead the team to .500 against actually quality teams.

A Carr/Jimmy G could probably make the Ravens low level playoff contenders, but they're spending A LOT for that to happen, which if they're trading Lamar, probably won't happen.

I don't think we have any concrete evidence per se, but there were certainly numerous reports at the time that that's what he was gunning for in response to Watson's deal.

His reaction at the presser after the negotiating window closed seemed to indicate that 200m guaranteed would have been tough to turn down

You must have stopped watching the games when Jackson went down because averaging under 12 points a game is competitive to you?
