Lamar Jackson

You have to realize who's been "advising" him...cousin AB

Brown wanting out was a blessing in disguise for the Ravens LONG term. Not this year.

On paper the Ravens have filled almost all of their needs for at least another 3-4 years.

Locking up Jackson I think will open up what we could do moving forward on offense. Feels like the focus on big moves can be made there.

Boy did I want to know what Brown and Bateman could do together. Fuck

If only they could stay healthy

Appreciate Lamar but franchise quarterbacks especially the elite ones are always looked upon as carrying the team and making special things happen on offense or things on offense that we didn't think could happen. This is why most of them make more money than any other position in The NFL. When we talk about Peyton Manning,Aaron Rodger, Tom Brady, Patrick Malhommes ( might have spelled that last name wrong) and more it's like we put them in a light as if they are the superman of their team since they were/are looked upon to save the day all the time. So I don't think this same expectation in regards to Lamar Is underrated but really just expected to a degree.

I respect Lamar Jackson if he wants to hold out or be traded but I don't think he necessarily has handle his business properly. His tweet announcing the details about his injury from a business and financial standpoint is not good especially if he looking to make the most money somewhere else. Borderline grade 3 PCL sprain typically requires surgery and the healing process can take up to 6 to 10 months. That's probably something a player wants to keep to his self to keep his value up in regards to free agency but it is what it is.
He cant keep that to himself. No way would he able to go elsewhere without another team finding out how bad his injury is..i think he has handled his current situation perfectly. What else could he have done? He literally has done all the things a stand up guy would do.. played or atleast tried to play whole season even when he didnt like the contract he was offered and was honest about his injury.. idk what else he couldve dne tbh.

I don't understand why people are being weird about it. Dude is hurt.

Mike Vick on Fox pregame show: (on Lamar) - “You’re 3 games away from a championship. Put a brace on it and get out there.”

Look what happened to what looked like a promising career with RG3

dude could not even plant his feet like he use to for a THROW let alone run again.

A. Vick doesn’t have his entire career on the line

B. Stretch to say we’re 3 games from a championship when WR1 is Sammy Watkins and WR3 is a practice squad callup

C. I highly doubt that a brace is holding Lamar out, probably more like a brace won’t protect him from a serious tear, your knee loses all its stability when there is swelling and you’re relying on the brace to provide full structural support for your knee, a brace doesn’t just magically make it all better and protect you.

It's this backwards ass thinking that has cost many their careers.

WR1 is D-Rob who dropped 7 passes last week, not Watkins

RG3 was an injury machine. Multiple concussions, ankle injury, multiple knee injuries. It was reported that when he injured his knee the first time, he went back in the game without the team doctors permission and injured it further. Which required major surgery during the off season. Not very smart.
