Lamar Jackson

lol yeah it doesn't work that way.
For starters, while those are nice big numbers you put out there, its also, quite literally, the MINIMUM amount he could have made during that period of time based on his performance. Like he gets credit for none of it, because it is the absolute floor of what his earning potential was based on how the CBA is structured.
So like yeah, he got the absolute minimum somebody who performs at his level got without an agent. I guess that's an accomplishment?

He can set whatever price he wants. If nobody pays it to him, then he can either start his own football league and pay himself whatever his little heart desires, he lowers his price to be commensurate with what the people he depends on are willing to pay him, or he fucks off and goes home and does nothing.

Those are his options.

Also, are you sure playing two years on the franchise is "his terms"? Pretty sure his terms would be he wants significant more money than $72M over the next two years. The franchise tag isn't terms he sets. They're set for him. If he's happy with it, so be it. Pretty clear he's not, though...
How do you know Lamar is not content with what he makes on a tag and out of principle won't accept less than what he wants?

lol

Put a fork in Lamar he done.

It should be noted that most teams who need a QB have all opted for cheaper options. Colts are the only ones who need a QB but haven't done anything.... yet.

Lamar needs to realize he's asking for too much and won't get it until he wins a Super Bowl.
