I guess this had to happen to us eventually, right? I fucking hate it.

Im hoping against hope that both sides just get this thing done and we can get back to enjoying the game and a solid team..... sigh......

How long to the ravens wait for the nonsense to end? They have basically forfeited any chance to land > average players in FA, and with the draft coming quickly how do they plan for that? I mean are we in re rebuild mode if Lamar, after consulting with himself, decides he doesn’t want to be here any longer? Or signs an offer sheet that the ravens will not match?

I can’t ever remember a similar situation for this organization. This is basically bullshit.

Tbh this FA was lacklustre as Hell. I don’t think I’m convinced Lamar really impacted us much in FA. Now if you want to question trades then sure that is possible but not FA. There’s nobody worth a damn in FA. Chark? Maybe he’s about it.

Plus we can recover from a Calais loss and Pierce and Gus could’ve ask to be released but they didn’t and accepted the deals to stay here. It’s not like we’re losing out on a Boldin-esque player because our QB is making too much money. Wait…

Well sure the FA class is weak but you’re dancing around the point I was making. How do you plan for this year and for the future when your franchise QB is not under contract and it’s not clear whether he still wants to be here. This team was built around Lamar Jackson. Are your FA and draft strategies the same if he leaves?

I wish the best for Lamar. I hope he gets ALL the money he wants. Just stop toying with people and either get a deal done here or elsewhere.

I don't think Lamar's a narcissist, just a weird, stubborn and private guy. (I don't think people would like him as much or put up with his oddness if they thought he was a bad person at heart. I also think a narcissist would have signed by now, come to think of it.)

The team has chosen to be frozen in limbo by his demands. I wish it was different but I don't think he enjoys it the way Rodgers, a real narcissist does.

I think the self interview comes from his intense privacy. He doesn't want to be asked about anything he doesn't want to talk about. He probably won't even talk football at all - it will be one of his weird business ventures.
