Lamar Jackson

Crazy to say but i do not want lamar to win MVP lol.. they are gonna start calling him the russell westbrook of the nfl if he dnt win SB

And both picks were 110% on the receiver. He also had a sack today that I’m sure Lamar wishes he could have back because that sack shouldn’t have happened, took a huge dropback and didn’t climb fast enough, shouldn’t have dropped that deep in the first place.

He’s done it his whole career, super deep drop, force the deep arc, quick climb to take them out of the play, but it doesn’t always work that way and I hope to see him do it less, I feel like it’s too much processing going on and just a really hard tactic to pull off consistently

i actually think on this sack he took his normal drop and then felt forced back which made it deeper - still should have stepped up but i dont think he was actually taking a super deep drop - just his reaction to the rush pushed him deeper

If Lamar truly has taken this next step, it’s honestly just over for everyone else lol.

He doesn’t need the deep ball outside explosives to hit if he’s consistently punishing the blitz, but that is the only area of his game that he can continue to make some significant gains.

If Lamar’s now taken that step that mahomes took a couple of years ago with the blitz and taking what the defence gives him then i don’t know that you can stop him.

And if you give him a guy who's truly a deep ball WR he'll be fine too. Hollywood ate. It's just been no one else since who's been that guy

A few years ago, we went through some PAIN with this game. We've come a long way.
